... and you had to choose between saving the original copy of the bible, signed by Jesus himself. Or some poor atheist bastard.
Which would you pick?

Okay, in case it wasn't obvious (apparently not) I wanted witty answers....
And yes I knowthere's no original copy of the bible signed by Jesus, hence the "Assume" part at the begining.

Since I'm not Christian, I don't get to answer. Personally, I'd pick the Bible - I could then sell it, purchase embryos, and grow my own army of atheists to replace the one I lost. ;)

Easy there is no original copy of the Bible certainly not signed by Jesus so that doesn't exist. You save the person atheist or not. The Bible, we know today, came along long after Jesus but did have direct quotations of Christ. The Bible Christ had was in the Scrolls that the Jewish Rabbi's taught from in the synagogues.

I'd grab the Bible and use it to preach the poor atheist bastard into salvation! Saving 2 for 2!

Reality, let the book burn. God wrote His Word into my heart, so I would rescue the man so he can have another day to accept the Lord.

There were only two answers posted when I read your question. And their answers really do show the difference the hearts of the believers compared to non-believers.

A Christian know that what matters is what's important to God, not what's important to men.

In fact the entire lifestyle of a Christian is based on this point. Self-willed is evil in the eyes of God. Just look at Lucifer. It was self will that got him thrown out of heaven. A Christian is supposed to die to their own will and live in the will of God. It is a constant battle between what we know is right and what our flesh desires. We are all sinners.

The definition of sin is; Whatever is not from faith (trust in the design and will of God) is sin.

We all drop the ball from time to time. But un-believers cannot please God because they do not have faith in Whom they cannot believe. We are all dependent on the provision God has made for our salvation, but you cannot accept what you do not trust.

If for whatever reason, JC couldn't save himself, he'd be the guy I'd get. The second would be the atheist. The last of course would be the bible since JC could tell us whatever we wanna know.

hmmm maybe the poor man instead of some paper with ink on it. I don't need another Bible. You can get one at barnes and noble if you really want. If I'm going to spend eternity with Jesus why do I need his autograph.

ok, atheist mocker. we are going to attempt this one greater time. God would have created you as a rock, that should get rid of evil from this universe. Is that truly what you elect for? or possibly you elect for God to give up the evil the place it stands? He ought to; yet He might ought to start with YOU! the 1st time you ever advised a lie, He might desire to do away with your tongue; or the 1st time you swore or cursed or used God's call as a swear be conscious - is that what you elect for? the 1st time you ever tried to take something that wasn't rightfully yours, He might desire to do away with your hands. the 1st time you tried to look at a woman with sexual suggestions on your suggestions (Jesus pronounced it is the comparable as adultery), He might desire to do away with your eyes. the 1st time you had a foul theory or grew to grow to be jealous or green with envy or grasping or stingy, He might desire to grant you a lobotomy and do away with your capacity to think of. Are you getting the factor yet? Evil is the evil and immoral issues you do. Is that truly what you elect for God to do? OR - He ought to offer you the prospect to repent of your sinful, immoral way of existence, and that must be yet in any different case to shrink the quantity of evil interior the universe. He chosen to die on a visit pay the penalty to your depraved methods so as which you will possibly have the prospect to repent. yet while it is not stable sufficient, enable me reassure you - the day will come wherein he will do away with ALL evil from the face of this planet - yet then you definately might whine and whinge approximately that, too, in view which you will possibly finally end up in hell in case you do no longer repent and get rid of the sin on your existence. THEN the universe would be freed from ALL evil. back, evil isn't some style of something - evil is your strikes, selections, words, attitudes and suggestions. get rid of those, and you gets rid of evil! you're able to do it voluntarily NOW; or GOD will do it later - yet you will unlike God's way of coping with evil!
