Yup.
This is your "politically-socially, religiously-sexually-correct" elected government officials at work.
And people wonder why Christians feel the need to vote & hold office.

I am in the military and I've never heard of this bill. Even if it exists AND makes it to the floor of Congress AND gets a passing vote Bush would never sign it nor would any other president. Every military ceremony I have ever been to has opened with or contained a Christian prayer at some point. And don't forget that God is on our side! (sarcasm)

Bills are not passed to regulate military justice. Is done through the uniform code of military justice. So your first part of the question is fallacious. Every person takes an oath in God's name. WHere do people come up with these "Rumors"?

That's not happening, nor would it ever. For one thing, the government right now has its head too far up the **** of religion to even consider something like that. Secondly, you need to stop listening to religious propaganda. This is all fundie-created madness made up to stir people up so that they can get more people on their extremist side. Don't fall for it. Real Christians are neutral or liberal, anyway.

If Jesus is God, and maximum Christians look to imagine this, then Jesus is both incapable of accepting the prayers of sinners, or God is totally in a position with out Jesus. obviously, anybody knows that in case you ask for something from God, even with if through Jesus, it isn't likely your prayer will be responded, except, obviously, it can purely as surely befell with out God. i'm affirming this contained in the call of your eyes, in which i ought to flow to get on your mind. (If this were spoken i'd ought to say it contained in the call of your ears.)

It should not pass, religious tolerance should be a goal of any person and only the religiously intolerant would be offended at that. If I want to pray in the name of Lucifer, then I should.

A true Christian would not be in the armed forces in the first placeand thus a court-martial would not be a problem to them

Sorry, but when people's lives are at stake, the government needs to find something better to do than interfere with people's prayer life!! Besides, our top Commander in Chief isn't Bush, but the One who presides over him.

Give me a break....they need people in the military you could pray to a horse and they wouldn't put you out.
The military has Chaplains....would they be court-martialed....it would make no sense.

it is not a matter of someone elses' faith but a bigger issue of ur own faith. dont u always start with -- IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER AND OF THE SON AND OF THE HOLT GHOST.
so now u are trying to leave GOD behind and only take the name of the Son. so who is bigger? the God who created the son? or the son himself?
