I tried to get Jesus to drive my Sunbeam but he looked at me like I was the devil and screamed this:

"Soy mexicano. No soy un fruitcake. "

What does that mean?

In Islam, singing, listening to music, dancing etc. are prohibited. So how a Muslim should celebrate / enjoy happy moments of life? Some say that even the sports are also prohibited. Muslims may please reply (Don't deny the above mentioned prohibitions. These do exist)

I just read this quote here on answers...

"If you mind the idea of eternal punishment and want to do everything you can to ensure you dont get there, make God the desire of your heart!!!"

I keep seeing this theme over and over again. I truely believe that this is indicative of the way "religious" people live. They are so afraid of some supposed punnishment after death (ie. "hell"), that they only carry on with religious baloney to avoid this fate.

Are people really that brainwashed by "religion"??

Obviously, I'm not a big fan of religion in general, but don't these places just ooze hypocrisy? They could take all the $ they spend on lighting and sound equipment and open a soup kitchen or some sh!t. My least favorite is that Jenetezen (sp) guy (you know who I mean, dammit!)

I mean, whenever you hear a story where one person claims another one is a bad person, you ALWAYS want to hear the other side. And frankly, I think if people are honest, they'll admit that not absolutely everything in the bible seems entirely moral, especially in the old testament. How do you KNOW that God is the good one here? What if really the entity we all worship is actually the devil?

Did you find yourself before god, or vice versa? If god found you first, how do you know who you REALLY are? This is a valid question, and I appreciate honest and mature answers.

...and with the world getting smaller and smaller (figuratively of course, you know with globalization etc.), why then do people who profess to be devout christians lead us into wars against people who pose no real danger to us? I'm taking ''neighbor'' to mean more than the person who lives next door or across the street. I'm looking for an answer that addresses the issue of circumventing this basic law or christianity, the second commandment. Thank you in advance to those of you who answer seriously this immense question

I too have been at times a little too "Long Winded"...but recently I have realised "Long Winded" really stiffles a lot of great feedback for our questions. I just don't want to read such 'dribble' no matter how true or pertinent it may be. I like answers from the heart and mind of you or from your experience. I would like to see your answer then a Maximum of three sources for your answer. I have also noticed very little "Voting" on the questions that have these long winded reply's. This can make the voting terribly one sided because most people will just vote for their own answer period.

Personal Jesus by Depeche Mode is one of my all time favorites. But, I also like Highway to Hell, Shout at the Devil, and several others that were obviously inspired by christianity. What should I do?

But you still wants rights like every other American.
Sure, you'll get them. But,know, you could get every right in America and people will look at you different.

Well, If you're born Gay then obviously it ISNT something "normal".
If I was born Straight, then "tada" I have fallen into the catagory that the human race "survives" on. If you're born gay then you should be classified with a type of Disorder. Sure, you'll get your rights but you should encouraged to see a Specialist! Someone who could teach you how "human life", and for that fact, Life as we know it for any species was created.

I also believe that since the word "marriage" no longer means a union between a man and woman, Straight people should abandon it and use a different term to seperate those who choose the path of normalcy and those who stray off the path. Does anyone agree since THERE"S NOT a word to define a man and a woman joining together? It seems like the celebrating word of two joining has lost its shine
