I mean, whenever you hear a story where one person claims another one is a bad person, you ALWAYS want to hear the other side. And frankly, I think if people are honest, they'll admit that not absolutely everything in the bible seems entirely moral, especially in the old testament. How do you KNOW that God is the good one here? What if really the entity we all worship is actually the devil?

I have heard Lucifer's side of the story. He whispers it in my ear quite often. I have just found him to be a simple liar.

I am not very sure if you really know what you are talking about. Have you really read story of Lucifer? And did you really read the Old Testament in it entirety? To say that there is also immorality within? Can you support your claim that the Old Testament has mistakenly lead people to worship the devil?
Where did you get the idea that Christians do not want to hear the side of Lucifer's story? Actually we heard it long ago and we heard it wrong. Do you have a proof that he was an Archangel that rebelled against God so he was cast down a became Satan? I do not think you do. In the book of Revelation. Satan is the Ancient Serpent, the Dragon, the Devil and the name Lucifer was not mentioned, why? do you know that? In the Book of Isaiah 14: 16 it says that Lucifer (Morning Star) is man who shook the earth and made the kingdoms tremble. 17 the man who made the world a desert, who overthrow its cities and would not let his captives go home?
If you read from Isaiah14: in its entirety, you will find that even king were surprised to see him down there in the pit because they knew he was good and he claims to be going up to the heavens and be sitted enthroned on the mount of the assembly. In our lifetime who do we know as the man who claims to make himself like the "MOST HIGH"?

The Bible is just a man-made play script, with several actors God, Devil, Jesus, Satan, Adam, Eve etc, and of course some intriguing imaginary places like Heaven, Hell, Purgatory and Limbo.

I certainly don’t believe in the Bible and I doubt any reasonably intelligent person would either. However, if you view the Bible as a man-made play script, with several actors God, Devil, Jesus, Satan, Adam, Eve, Noah, and so on, then you can certainly start to see a clever interwoven plot, that the audience is unaware of. It’s really just a drama thriller with clever twists.

You see, if you seriously think about it in an unbiased manner, then clearly the actor God in the Bible could really be the Devil, and the audience (religious believers) are being sucked into being the bad guys, who then use religion to get everyone fighting each other.

On the other hand, the more intelligent audience (Atheists) spot the plot and try their best to teach believers that this is just nonsense, stop getting sucked in. Some people have over time decided that the play is real. That's very sad.

If you truly want to know, you can know, right down to the nail on your little toe.

We are all given the ability to know what is true and what is false, the ability to see beyond the glitz, the hype and the trappings. But it takes prayer, faith, belief and a tuning in on those things spiritual.

It requires a little effort and work on the part of the individual...and considering that so many of us would rather have someone TELL us and SHOW us rather than finding out for OURSELVES the truth, you can see why so much misinformation and outright lies fly about in our world. We would rather not take responsibility for what we know...if someone tells me, it must be true...we see alot of the Gospel according to Man out in the world, where it has been twisted and misinterpreted to fit the selfish or greedy needs of others.

I am going to tell you that I am on the side that promotes good and denounces evil, the side that promotes family unity and denounces throwaway individuals, the side the reveres courage in the face of adversity and denounces personal gain at the expense of others, the side the promotes the worth of all people and not a select few...

Lucifer's plan was that we would all be his slaves, without choice and he would gain all glory - God's plan was different, we would be able to choose, have agency...

I've chosen...

well, instead of believing what you read or hear, why not decide for yourself

would you rather be treated nicely by other people or be treated ignorantly and brutally by others

would you rather work together to achieve goals in harmony or would you rather be lied to and stole from by your fellow man who is only doing so to "get ahead in life"

do you want a committed, faithful partner or a partner who cheats on you to satisfy their cravings

you see if you look at it as words, then you can ask the question, but when you think about it, whether we call good deeds "good" or call them "bankarode", the fact is we generally want to be treated with actions we happen to have labelled "good" and we seem to dislike actions which we happen to have labelled "evil"

You don't have to grab on to the negative pole of electricity or any other thing to realize that it's not good for you. The proof is in the pain, mental anguish and other negative factors caused on your person which lets you know... "this Hurts Me" and this is from the 'Devil'. Or Hey "this does not hurt me" and this is from "God".

Not true at all, God is not the evil one, the devil is, if you believe that the devil is the good one then he has you fooled!
