The rules have not been changed by the Vatican to suit many modern lifestyles... So, a lot of catholics ignore church rules along with other structure that just doesn't work out for them...
Would that make a practicing cathoic breaking the rules...
a hypocrite? a sinner?

If a catholic commits a sin, they must confess their sin to a priest before they can recieve any other sactraments....
(such as the sacraments of communion, marrage, ect...)
However.... if the catholic plans on continuing the sin, they can't ask for forgiveness in the sacrament of pennance....
Therefore who is catholic choosing to live in sin against the church may recieve no sacraments & attend mass only to pray.

Statistics would have 75% of adults using a bith control... 40-50% divorsed... 20% (or more) cheating on a spouse....blah, blah, blah...these are all sins against the church)
Dose the catholic church create sinners?
Or are humans just prone to sin?

For instance, I went to medical school and had faith all throughout that I would eventually become a doctor, and sure enough I did. Having faith in that got me through the difficult times in school.

I had faith that I could figure out how to solve a family crisis even when i had no idea how to do it. Eventually, because I believed very seriously that I would eventually be able to figure it out, the answer came to me and the problem was resolved.

What about you?

(the purpose of the question is to identify that faith, whether in a religious context or not, is a very powerful tool that all should use).

Even in the Holy Bible itself it's full of God's commands that degrade and shame women. Such as, if a woman gets divorced and marries another guy she is automatically an adulterer. Well what if the woman married a very abusive man that treats her like a slave and dirt, makes her sleep on the ground, ect and abuses her physically emotionally sexually or one of those, Will God still look down on her as an adulterer of she decides to leave him for her own safety?

It also says in the bible that women should cover their heads, and be silent in church. Well is God gonna condemn women if they decide to be a pastor and a public speaker glorifying His name?

It also says in the old testament that women who are raped should marry the rapist. Is that God's command? Or somewhere it says keep the women and children for raping and slavery.

Wouldn't it be better to be an animal instead of a woman? Look at meerkats, the male is attentive to his mate the dominant female.
Thoughts?

THERE IS MORE HERE THAN MEETS THE EYE

I asked "if there were any muslims who loved american culture". He responded with intense intense hatred for America ("mother of all terrorists"..etc) as opposed to something like "Yes I love America but hate you". http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AtxPD3z.LY.dNwU7eNqaLW7sy6IX?qid=20060829101948AAJWirU

Now...think about that people, I get that he hates me...so if he responds with "your a hater, bastard, kafir infidel jew hindu...", i get it...thats one thing.

But see how he responds? He responds with hatred for America...the highest highest kind. If youve been to Yahoo Q and A, youve seen him post this stuff for over a year, prepared Anti-USA hate propaganda. Leftists...am I right?

Biomimtek says he lives in America and believes Islam will change it...if you think his view is a minority position, you know nothing about Islam....study it.

I have finally decided to be missionary. Before I reveal you my plan, I would like to thank all you of you who advised me and have prayed for me regarding the message I recently sent in under the title of “Is God calling?” Yes!! I have even decided to commute myself to him. So now I am going to be missionary. From a Muslim family, I became Christian when I was 12 years old. My parents didn’t like this but I didn’t give up! Some years later I decided to be priest. I spent there also some five years in priesthood training I couldn’t carry on simply because my rector was unable to get along with me! I was forced to leave the seminary but I was not sacked. Since I left seminary I have been praying and asking God to help me find my way. Trough my Sundays preaching and my personal desire to proclaim the Gospel I have come to realize that God is finally calling me to be missionary. I mean missionary by going where people do not know Jesus yet. In my country (Mali West Africa) Christian are only 3% out of 97% of Muslim.
In one month time, I am going for evangelization! So please if there is anyone who is willing to help me with some prayers book, Bible, Jesus Film Projector or any other thing that could be useful for my mission, I would be very grateful. Please do not forget to pray for me.

Prayerfully yours,
Help me answer my call

I am planning a get together at my house with the younger women in my church (30 -50 years of age). Most of our members are much older. The topic will be "Daughters Of The Most High". I have been searching scriptures on being a daughter and so far Esther, the 4 daughters of Philip, Psalm 45:13(kjv) have been the result. Any insight on this topic would be most appreciated. God has blessed my family with a new apartment with enough space to have such a gathering. It is something that is much needed in my local fellowship because most of the members are much older (60 and up). My pastor's wife has been saying for some time that the younger women needed to get together and God has put it on my heart to do it. I want it to be a blessing that will minister to us and draw us closer to God and each other. Thank you in advance for your answers.
