I m a muslim and m shocked by the postings made by ppl against not only Islam,but also christianity, judaism and even atheism. I believe this is immoral as it tries to devalue the particular person's faith.
I believe in peace. I think in the afterlife, everyone good in their deeds shall be allowed entry to man's destiny - heaven. Well I include all believers of God along with atheists. Peace be upon u all nice ppl! God is kind and let his mercy allow all good in their deeds to be blessed.
Till then let us all leave in harmony with our fellow human on this beautful earth. Brothers and sisters, let us all agree on this honest proposal, doesnt matter what u r or what u want 2 be.
I m a devoted muslim and to some who might think i dont know about my reigion, i say i have studied it and verified. I have alsi studied about other religions(especially Judaism and Christianity) and learnt to respect them as believers in the same God but with different perspective.Thank u and god bless u all!

I was wondering if someone could tell me how science and religion don't conflict. I don't know enough about religion or science to answer the question. Didn't Einstein or some sciencetist make some quote like religion without science is blind (or something) and science without religion is blind (or something) ?

Why can we drink alcohol & smoke cigarettes for recreational purposes but Rastafarians cannot smoke marijuana for legitimate religious purposes? They don't sanction the abuse of marijuana as we don’t sanction the abuse of alcohol or cigarettes, so wouldn't laws and regulations be a little more fair? After all young children are given wine during communion and that’s obviously underage drinking but for religious purposes it is ok. It is kept within reason, as would the smoking of marijuana. Why are we keeping them from expressing their religious rights?
Just because they're not the most mainstream religion doesn't mean we should ignore their rights. Also their rights should be extended to them where ever they are. If christians can preach and worship in Africa why can't rastafarians practice their faith here as well as anywhere? I think we should show respect to every being and their religious beliefs.

Please do not judge one another..

How are the above mentioned different in your "reality"?

because, my friend and i were playing the ouija board and everything was okay at first and then the spirit kept spelling his name, 'Noah' over and over again, we dont know anyone of this name either and when we didnt ask a question he'd go straight to the N, is this spirit evil and is he still with us? We said goodbye but my friends dog is acting weird and barking and growling at absolutely nothing, and dogs can see ghosts. I know that neither my friend or i were pushing the planchette..so please what is your opinion on this?

I have found out that in the Koran there is bold-faced evidence that says for muslims to kill all infidels. Koran 2:39: "Those who reject faith and belie our signs, They shall be Companions of the Fire and abide in it." Koran 5:33: "The Punishment for those who oppose Allah and his messenger is: Execution or Crucifixion or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides or exile from the land." the list goes on and on there was even a book wriiten by Craig winn called Prophet of Doom which talks about the Islam religion and evidence that the koran says to kill all infidels (i looked on his website--haven't read the whole book yet)
SO GOOD MUSLIMS: y arent u killing infidels, i mean, according to the koran u should be???? i mean, when i go into a middle eastern restaurant i dont get killed (however, maybe they r calidians (not sure on spelling) or that since its here in America, they know killing is illegal and that they just arent following the koran fully) EXPLAIN to ME

i can't reconcile the fact that i am told i have free will with the fact that i am told God knows everything. For example, i decided to send this email today, but presumably God knew yesterday or even from the moment i was born that today i would post this. Surely that means my actions were determined ? I have tried to listen to people explain it in school and in church but it seems to me that they are fundamentally irreconcilable concepts.

Lee Harvey Oswald was a leftist who hated America. He was a certified army sharpshooter who assassinated the president.

Sirhan Sirhan was an Muslim who hated America and assassinated Robert Kennedy.

The major difference between the two is that Oswald tried to leave America and move to a land consistent with his idealogy. Oswald moved to Russia but the Russians kicked him out and Oswald was heart broken.

Lee Harvey Oswald was a pathetic insect, but he wasnt a hypocrit. What about all the Islamists who live in western countries?

Recently the Australian Prime Minster made Imam's declare loyalty to Australian law, those who wouldnt were deported. He announce that any Muslims who dont want to live under Australian law...didnt have to, and in fact, should not live this insane hypocricy only found among Muslims but should simply leave.

Americans are so confused about Islam. Our parents moved here WANTING AMERICA CULTURE AND LAW...

If not why? Many mormons say we are the same, but how can they say that when they know on this point alone I would not be able to join. I know say a Baptist church would not Accept someone into membership on their LDS baptism and beliefs. QUESTION IS WHAT DO YOU SAY? When one of the apostles is asked 3 times if he loves Jesus, and the apostle replies with positive, why does Jesus say to him "feed My sheep". now, I know why Jesus asked him 3 times this question ( he, the apostle, did not have the love of God) but what did He meant by feed my sheep ? why is it that in the bible God did something all the time for people. now he doesnt do anything. this is kinda fishy. I think that the bible was made up by someone or some people to show how to act, becuase there is no God or Jesus. They are so cute. Sometimes they turn into ugly demons but other times they are soft and cuddly little animals. How come? I asked Satan to let me see them and he did. He is so wonderful. I ask questions in 2's. One first question to show you something, then the second follow up question to show the purpose. In my first question, I blatantly bashed the Christians. This generated 41 responses at this point. My follow up question, showing the purpose of it, which got as much time on the R+S first page as my 1st question did, only got 7 answers at the moment.

Is it because people would rather deal with the bashers, or did you choose to ignore my 2nd question based on my first?

This question is just for future reference, so I know how correctly ask questions later :)
