I have found out that in the Koran there is bold-faced evidence that says for muslims to kill all infidels. Koran 2:39: "Those who reject faith and belie our signs, They shall be Companions of the Fire and abide in it." Koran 5:33: "The Punishment for those who oppose Allah and his messenger is: Execution or Crucifixion or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides or exile from the land." the list goes on and on there was even a book wriiten by Craig winn called Prophet of Doom which talks about the Islam religion and evidence that the koran says to kill all infidels (i looked on his website--haven't read the whole book yet)
SO GOOD MUSLIMS: y arent u killing infidels, i mean, according to the koran u should be???? i mean, when i go into a middle eastern restaurant i dont get killed (however, maybe they r calidians (not sure on spelling) or that since its here in America, they know killing is illegal and that they just arent following the koran fully) EXPLAIN to ME

You should read those verses in their context--not out of their context.
For thousands of years Muslims did read and understand what they meant. If they misunderstood the verses--there shouldn't be any Jews or Christians left in the Middle-East or North Africa. Right?
There shouldn't be Coptic Christians in Egypt. There shouldn't be any Mizrahi or Shephardic Jews left. There shouldn't be any Hindus left in India.During the 700 years of Muslim rule in Spain--the majority were always Christian--they were not forced to convert--they remained alive. But just after the Christians took over--there were SPANISH INQUISITION. The Christians well understood the Bible for sure. Certainly, Quran condemns the unbelievers to hell-fire--so did the Bible. The verses that are about killing infidels are in direct combat or war. It's not about killing civilians. Didn't Christians kill each other in wars? If your country is attacked or you are persecuted as a group--you won't war against
your opponents? And is there any war without killing????
Why Good Muslims aren't standing up against Islamic extremists?
I think they are just a by-product or reaction to the Imperialist
Neo-Con real Western Terrorists. Why did you vote the fugly
TERRORIST NUMBER ONE--BUSH? Muslims should not be apologetic anymore.Muslims doesn't fear anyone except God. Our enemie's enemy is our Friend.

Bismillah ahRahman nirRaheem

2:39 - But those who disbelieve and belie Our Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) such are the dwellers of the Fire, they shall abide therein forever.

THIS IS CLEARLY TALKING ABOUT ALLAH DECIDING WHO GOES TO HEAVEN OR HELL, not about muslims go and kill all the non-muslims.

5:33 - The recompense of those who wage war against Allâh and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off on the opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the Hereafter.

Once again, this says nothing about killing or punishing ALL THE NON-MUSLIMS. ****ONLY**** those who WAGE WAR against ISLAM (i.e. against MUSLIMS simply for them BEING MUSLIMS). And there's no way that's all the non-Muslims, geesh.

Do yourself a favor - kill ignorance - get a good translation of The Quran (not one written by a jewish or other non-Muslim) and consult with Muslims and their text to get the context and understanding.

I certainly have a replica of the George Sale translation of the Koran, and while i glance up the passages the a number of human beings quote as proving Islam being violent, the passages in my e book are not quite the comparable, and much might properly be left for interpretation. That being mentioned, i think that Islam is a violent faith. you are able to or won't be waiting to coach it by using quoting passages from the Koran, yet maximum center-jap Muslims are the main violent and illiberal bunch i've got ever seen. additionally, while grew to become into the final time you heard of somebody of the different faith strapping a bomb to them self and blowing it up in a crowded public place? you do no longer pay attention too many memories of Christian Clergy telling their congregations to go out and kill Muslims. And look how quickly the middle-jap Muslims condemned all of the U. S. because of the fact some so a procedures unknown preacher of a backwater church in Florida had to burn some Korans. you won't be waiting to coach it by using the Koran, yet their movements are evidence sufficient for me.

First if you want really to understand the meaning of these verses you need to read translated explanations of the Koran...Even Arab Muslims don't explain the Koran in their own way....and you should be aware of the reason and timing of each verse and Surah to understand Its meaning....
1. The first verse is talking about the punishment of unbelievers afterdeath in Hell and not by the hands of the Muslims.
2.The second verse was talking about terrorists..yes it happened that some people killed a man who was looking after the sheep of people of Medina and stole the sheep...and this verse is specific for their punishment and whoever does like them.
3.According to Koran and Sunna unmuslims are not our enemies except they attack us look for verse:7,8 in Surah 60"Al-Mumtahinah"
4.I am saying it to you and every one interested in studying or reading the Koran you must have an eplanation for the Koran to avoid misunderstanding..As I told you even Arab Muslims must read the explanation to understand well. It's like when you read some theories in physics or chemistry you nedd some explanation to understand the theory.

When you read that just ask yourself: Where did you read that? Which surah, which ayat? As you are non-religious, you can think of the Quran as a kind of collection of stories. There are the ones about Mary, Abraham, Noah, David etc.How does those lines go with the story they are with? Mosly likey they are depicted together with stories about a war.

You should also keep in mind that there are those who wish to spread anti-islamic values, just like there is the anti-christ.

I shall answer your question by first saying I am a practicing Muslim. According to the Quran, murder without purpose is a number 1 sin that earns you eternal hell. If you are ordered to kill people because of your job, it is excused because it is your job. Like soldiers going to war. It is their job to follow orders and defeat the opponent. God knows your reason. If the person kills "because they are infidels", that is a twisted way of thinking. And that is a sin. because you respect my religion and i respect yours. Simple enough. If you're the one that aggravates us on purpose, there is a retaliation. And Vice versa.

So if you come to me I won't kill you for there is no reason to. If you disturb/ aggravate me in anyway, I'll retaliate back. But never to the extent of murder.

I can't believe you are blind and have made such a misinterpretation.

Those who OPPOSE Allah and the Prophet's teachings, those who CHALLENGE Islam and those who POSE A THREAT to the very teachings and way of life as dictated by Islam. What the Qu'ran is saying is that if there are people who DENOUNCE the faith, who KILL the Islamic faithful, who would do anything to make them miserable and to SUFFER, then those deserve to be punished.

I do know it says that, but it doesn't say Humans (muslim or otherwise) are the ones who need to "dish it out." If I remember correctly (and it has been a while since I read it--I'm not Muslim--so I could be mistaken), but I believe Allah is the one who'll get revenge when the time comes, Muslims stay out of it and just make sure they are doing right themselves.

isnt it too easy to insult someone now-a-days, esp a muslim?. but may be if u would have just done a litttle extra reading, u wouldnt have made a fool out of u in front of this many people.

QURAN-- Al-Baqara | 286 verses | The Calf سورة البقرة
Sura #2 | Madina

39 But they who disbelieve, and deny Our revelations, such are rightful Peoples of the Fire. They will abide therein.

if u come down a lil bit scroll it down and u will see who Allah is actually referring to the disbeleivers. if u are so blind or may be lazy enough to see it, then let me give u the verses. this will give u a clear idea of WHO INFIDELS ARE. and this entire story of moses-pbuh will end by verse --95

this verse clearly states that those who are not good to the community and who lie, who give false witness and who dont give charity are disbeleivers. they are those who dont pray, who are not patient , who are not humble minded and who conceal the thruth intentionally.

40 O Children of Israel! Remember My favour wherewith I favoured you, and fulfil your (part of the) covenant, I shall fulfil My (part of the) covenant, and fear Me.
41 And believe in that which I reveal, confirming that which ye possess already (of the Scripture), and be not first to disbelieve therein, and part not with My revelations for a trifling price, and keep your duty unto Me.
42 Confound not truth with falsehood, nor knowingly conceal the truth.
43 Establish worship, pay the poor-due, and bow your heads with those who bow (in worship).
44 Enjoin ye righteousness upon mankind while ye yourselves forget (to practise it)? And ye are readers of the Scripture! Have ye then no sense?
45 Seek help in patience and prayer; and truly it is hard save for the humble-minded,
46 Who know that they will have to meet their Lord, and that unto Him they are returning.
47 O Children of Israel! Remember My favour wherewith I favoured you and how I preferred you to (all) creatures.
48 And guard yourselves against a day when no soul will in aught avail another, nor will intercession be accepted from it, nor will compensation be received from it, nor will they be helped.

and a lil more of scrolling will show u that it is mentioned to the people of moses-pbuh whp worshiped a golden calf, hence the name of the surah.

49 And (remember) when We did deliver you from Pharaoh's folk, who were afflicting you with dreadful torment, slaying your sons and sparing your women: that was a tremendous trial from your Lord.

Quran -- Al-Maeda | 120 verses | The Table Spread سورة المائدة
Sura #5 | Madina
33 The only reward of those who make war upon Allah and His messenger and strive after corruption in the land will be that they will be killed or crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land. Such will be their degradation in the world, and in the Hereafter theirs will be an awful doom

now just scroll one verse above this.

32 For that cause We decreed for the Children of Israel that whosoever killeth a human being for other than manslaughter or corruption in the earth, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind, and whoso saveth the life of one, it shall be as if he had saved the life of all mankind. Our messengers came unto them of old with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), but afterwards lo! many of them became prodigals in the earth.

do u understand what this means? it means that if anyone-be it muslim, jews or christians -people of the Book make war or create mischeif on earth, they will be punished. now read the verse 32 and then verse 33. does it make any sense?

why do u have to write anything here just for the sake of writing and degrading, insulting someone. dont u think it is better for u to READ EVERYTHING AND THEN QOUTE. just giving a quote from a Holy Book is no big deal. i can give u many for that matter, but Allah has asked me to respect Jesus-pbuh like the rest of the prophets, that is why i am not giving u quotes from ur Holy book .
