There is quite a difference between religion and faith. Religion is a set of theocratic rules taken out of context from a very small portion of the Bible to suit someones personal views of social conduct. Faith in God is what reaches the very core of your being It tries & tests us convicts and teaches us. But, most of all gives us that loving closeness that God wants with all that know and love Him. He doesn't want robots that worship Him because He commands it( He could do that in the blink of an eye ), rather He wants those who are seeking & come to Him freely.

Going to be extremely variable; IIR,. one of the biggest arguments I've heard against intermarriage (Gentile-Jew) is the high rate of loss to the Jewish community.
Understand that the "Plain People"----Old Order Amish, and the more conservative Mennonite groups---have retention rates around 80%, if you're counting the number of people who stay within the denomination after joining the church (after baptism in the late teens). This may have something to do with the insularity of these groups, combined with the idea that if you're going to make so substantial a commitment to the Amish ideal, you'd BETTER stand by it....otherwise, don't make the formal promises.

I think it all depends on the country you are born and live in. Also your exposure to other culture and religions. Look at the Amish...it is not often they change religions.
