Did you find yourself before god, or vice versa? If god found you first, how do you know who you REALLY are? This is a valid question, and I appreciate honest and mature answers.

I would say in my case, it was simultaneous. It was the realization that God is part of me and makes me who I am. I wasn't really looking for either, but was blessed with both.

All of us are creations of God. God is not in the universe She is the universe.

She created the universe from the only thing that She had available, Herself.

You and the most distant star from you in the universe both exist within the idea of God.

This is a difficult concept for most people to comprehend because they have been taught nonsense about God. Like the idea that God lives far away on a cloud called heaven. God is not a raindrop. Raindrops live in clouds Not God. This is foolishness.

Jesus told us that the kingdom of God is within us. This is true because each and every one of us exist as a part of God. We live and move within our loving source. There is no moment or possibility that we can ever be apart from her.

Forget the silly stories that you have been told about a distant God that lives in the clouds. Look around you. Everything that you see is God.

For this reason when you find yourself before God you will realize exactly who you are for perhaps the first time.

Love and blessings.
Don

God made us in his likeness and I don't think you will have total peace with yourself until you find out what god's will for your life is!!!
Try to lead your own life is hard; why not tap into God's help & power to make things go easier!!

Again an answer from religious and spiritual view. Our wants, if unbridled and at a cross from the religious parameters. then we have transgressed and harmed ourselves. God guides. We are endowed with a will to accept or to reject the guidance.

If every things goes well one thinks that all is with his power?ability, luck.
then he will not find time to pry as is it is awaste for time is money.

I found who I was before I found God.

I went to God because after I found myself, I found myself to be profoundly deficient.

When I went to God, he began making me into who I was always supposed to be. In this, you could say that I am being found again, although "I" has changed radically through God's grace and mercy.

Quran says 'We know what is being born in the womb of a mother'

It is already decided that what a person will be, what character will he/she have etc.

We r just experiencing it now.
