A devout christian was banned from flying with Easyjet after she asked staff to "stop blaspheming". the staff who were mainly of East Asian descent said "Oh my God" several times on observing a youngster who had fallen over. The staff called the devot christian "racist" and withdrew her boarding card and took her luggage off the plane and she was banned from flying by Easyjet for 24 hours. Who was right - staff or customer?

It's so wrong,so egotistical to think that our idea of "GOD" had something to do with the creation of this incredibly complex and beautiful planet and universe.We are just part,of the cycle of life and lucky just to be alive.....soon science will be number 1 in all eyes,when the world starts hurting,with bad air and bad water.Then there will be no GOD,just pure fact for all to realize.....we must help ourselves.....tom science

I'm not pretending to be a Bible expert here (that's why I'm asking the question), but my understanding is that most of the NT was written down like 30 years after Jesus died (correct me, please, if you have better information). If we're talking the word of God here, wouldn't it have been important to write that stuff down ASAP?

what if you were supose to have lots of kids but you used birth control so they were prevented from being conceived..what if didn't have sex at all then your future kids would never have a chance to be born and you could be depriving the world of there presence..

just think of how many more people would be alive if there was no birth control..

What's your take on the so called lost books of the Bible.

What if intelligent life, humanoid in form, were to come (in peace) to earth, but laugh at our ideas of god? If they were more advanced than us, but otherwise very similar to the humans on Earth, would you take their lack of an idea of god to mean that the basic Christian view that god created the universe and provided a way for all people to worship him to be wrong? Would there be some other reason why they wouldn't believe in god? Why the idea of such a thing never existed to anyone on their planet? How exactly would you react to this?

I have heard at many places that Wine is considered as Blood of Jesus. And Blood of Jesus purifies ones sins..
I have even heard that during conversion to Christanity one is given Wine... So can A non Alcoholic become a Christian or is it necessary for every christian to Drink Wine?

It seems to me those who believe in Armageddon and the Rapture have very little cause to worry about the condition of the planet, since Armageddon will wreck it and the Rapture will renew it, and the belief in the imminence of both precludes the existence of future generations who will have to live here.

So can it be said that the belief in Armageddon and the Rapture keeps America and the West from taking more useful steps to protect the biosphere of this planet and preserve it for generations to come?

It is mentioned in the book of Isaiah chapter 29 verse 12:
"And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned."

Gospel of John chapter 15 verse 26:
"But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which

Gospel of John chapter 16 verse 7:
"Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not
come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you".

Some Christians say that the Comforter mentioned in these prophecies refers to the Holy Sprit. They fail to realise
that the prophecy clearly says that only if Jesus (pbuh) departs will the Comforter come. The Bible states that the
Holy Spirit was already present on earth before and during the time of Jesus (pbuh), in the womb of Elizabeth, and again when Jesus (pbuh) was being baptised, etc.
