Here's my (humble) opinion:
1. An anti-abortion law would simply fill jails with fully-capable doctors and vulnerabe women (if you can't handle a baby, you definitely can't handle prison)
2. It is unconstitutional
3. Fighting abortion as we have been (through peaceful protest and sexual education) is plenty effective

NOTE: I am strongly opposed to ALL abortions, but I respect peoples right to choose.

Even if the sausage sprouted little squirming arms and legs, and a little mouth that start spouting off Bible verses, telling you to repent, and that He was the Son of Man?

Or would you do the right thing, and report the sausage to the clergy?

I want to do it on my own because I don't agree with going to church to find Christ. (Besides, I never wake it time for Sunday school) The problem is I can't understand the version I have because of the "lo, thou, thee" confusing old english in it. (If it was written in stanzas, it might be Shakespeare.)

Anyone know any good versions written in plain English that's understandable and trustworthy? I know some cool stuff get lost in the translation from the original Latin (like Dante's Italian Divine Commedia) but I'm not studying the course anytime soon.

How much does it generally cost? Where do you buy them from? A bookstore?

It seems to me that even innocent qestions or remarks are now taken as "racist". Everyone seems so uptight about all of this now. And I don't think the Govt helps by their recent acts on Religious Hatred which imo is a restriction on religious freedom. Why should I not be free to say that is/was anutter/paedophile/wicked/evil/deluded etc?

He told me that the Vatican had a research which confirmed that Jesus never laughed.. The basis was that laughter comes when something funny & unexpected happen.. Jesus knew everything overhand, so he smiled in his life, but never actually laughed!

Did anyone hear of this?

well all my life i have been taught that jesus was gods son.
ive even thought that maybe jesus was in heaven when god created earth. god said:let us(US) make man in our image.
obviously god wasnt alone.
but muslims believe that jesus was a prophet..yes the messiah too. he will come back. but not gods actuall son.
maybe its like all of us....we are gods children, but not genetically so to speak.
god did make mary concieve with child(jesus) but maybe he was 100% human.
he was the chosen one. the bible never says that we must beleive he is gods son to be saved...but we must believe in jesus.
i do!!!! 100% i do.
and even when john the baptist was baptising jesus..heaven opened god said: this is my son whom iam well pleased.
well so, maybe he is like gods adopted son.
the 2nd adam.
god loves us all. we are all his children. he created us all.
what do u all think>???
dont get offended. but their are so many religeions. we cant be 100% certain which is right.just believe in god.

we should just take whatever the world throws at us and not defend ourselves. God doesn't tell us that we have to be door mats.

According to the 'so called' gospel of Judas, Jesus actually laughed, and lead a comparatively normal life! Why is this less belivable than a new testament 'picked out' by a Roman Emporer who declared himself as unifield religious leader of the world, and banned all other religions!!

some miracles of the holy quran including "numbers of word repetitions"

first i have to say that quran was revealed to prophet mohammad who couldn`t read or write 1400 years a go in arabia.<< **this part can be interesting for Christians and the Jewish :It is mentioned in the book of Isaiah chapter 29 verse 12 :"And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.">>
the spritual and moral content and the devine beauties of the quran is so attractive that most people become muslims because of
the strong love between themselves and the one god(god of ibrahim, jesus, moses and others who is one god and has no partners or son or daughter), it is a book that when recited moves people to tears. a book that is memorised completely by millions of people
but some people are after proofs , they cant have faith easily, they are after signs
if you are like them,I want to share with you just some of the many many miracles of the quran.

WORD REPETITION IN THE QURAN

keep ind that quran is considered by arabs whether muslim or NOT as the greatest piece of arabic literature, and and it was impossible to just add or delete words in order to get these balances.

The word "land" appears 13 times in the Qur'an and the word "sea" 32 times,
If we add up the total words of both "sea" and "land" we get 45 , the calculation:
32/45 X 100% = 71% = percentages of Water (Sea) in the world
13/45 X 100% = 29% = percentages of Land in the world

The statement of "seven heavens" is repeated seven times. "The creation of the heavens (khalq as-samawat)" is also repeated seven times.

"Day (yawm)" is repeated 365 times in singular form, while its plural and dual forms "days (ayyam and yawmayn)" together are repeated 30 times. The number of repetitions of the word "month" (shahar) is 12.

The number of repetitions of the words "plant" and "tree" is the same: 26

The word "payment or reward" is repeated 117 times, while the expression "forgiveness" (mughfirah), which is one of the basic morals of the Qur'an, is repeated exactly twice that amount, 234 times.

When we count the word "Say," we find it appears 332 times. We arrive at the same figure when we count the phrase "they said."

The number of times the words, "world" (dunya) and "hereafter" (akhira) are repeated is also the same: 115

The word "satan" (shaitan) is used in the Qur'an 88 times, as is the word "angels" (malaika).

The number of times the words "man" and "woman" are repeated in the Qur'an, 23, is at the same time that of the chromosomes from the egg and sperm in the formation of the human embryo. The total number of human chromosomes is 46; 23 each from the mother and father.

The word "salawat" appear five times in the Qur'an, and Allah has commanded man to perform the prayer (salat) five times a day

*****look at the complete list of word repetitions in the link for mathematical miracles below***

4-or in the qoran it is said that the universe is ever expanding which has been proven in recent years

5- it said there is cure in eating bee`s honey and it has been proven by doctors that honey has this effect

6-it said that sun and moon are rotating and it has been proven that they are rotating around their axeses

7-it is also mentioned that the earth is egg-shaped, not spherical, a fact which was recently discovered;

8-it empfesizes that God will put together in perfect order the very tips of our fingers in the day of judgement when he recreates our bodies, and recently
sientists discovered that fingerprints are unique to ones identity, yet the Holy quran empesized that 1400 years a go.
"Does man think that WE Cannot assemble his bones? Nay, WE are able to put Together in perfect order The very tips of his fingers."

dont forget that qoran says that christianity and judiasm was from
god too but prophet mohammad was the last prophet for mankind ,who had the
the same message that jesus and moses and abraham and other propohets had.
and that is to worship one god without partners.

*to non-muslims: what do you say about the miracles( they are too many to be coincidenses )?
* to muslims : why do they ignore the clear facts and proofs?

here is a link to some famous scientists point of view a bout the miracles in the quran.

In this day and age we look towards science to answer our questions what’s the sun why are trees green ect. In the past legends and religion have served us in stead we had religion because of thus:
A scientific event of ununderstandable proportions would appear to be purely magic, entirely supernatural.
So we, for thousands of years, have used magic to guide us to show us what’s going on, incorrectly of course science was the real answer not magic.
Or was it?
Another thought:
A supernatural event occurring in a faithless time would appear to not to be magic but instead science.
So we, for thousands of years, may have been right after all. Perhaps since is just or perception of magic the way we see gods hand.
so my question:
In your eyes who's correct, the man who only believes what he sees is real and takes that at face value? Or the man believes what he feels and takes everything as an act of god?
