malcolm X, this is precisely the type of remark that alienates muslims from the rest of society. I totallly disagree with you about Islam being superior certainly to christianity and certainly it is not superior to British justice. Islam has the following defects:
a) subjugation of women
b) Non-equality before th law - the word of a muslim is classed above a non-muslim, man before a woman etc
c) Muslims are allowed to lie to non-muslims
d) No alcohol
e) No freedom of speech
f) Sharia Law - medieval punishments wih no proportionality of punishment - chopping off of hands nd toning for example
Give us all abreak and peddle the fairy tale of Islamic superiority somewhere else like Arabia where you might actually like it if they let you keep your hands.

In response to some posts,
I do NOT see muslims ever integrating. I cannot think of a single country in the world to which they emigrated and in which they have properly integrated. By integration I mean that they abide by our laws and customs and do not try to vilently overthrow the leadership of the country or hold the country to ransom. Elements within the muslim community want to do precisely this and 40% of muslims in the UK want to see Sharia Law, a barbaric medieval system of law, imposed on Britain. This is why the muslims are so dangerous to this country.

charmante f, I disagree. There is NO evidence muslims want to integrate. Quite the contrary, they have publicly stated there intention is to make the UK a muslim country.

They will either send them back or become the next Muslim country. England seems to be in the process of being conquored without knowing it.

Part of moving to a country is accepting their way of life, Iraq and Iran are predominately Muslim, whilst the UK is predominately Christian, and each country has it's owns laws, eg the UK's equal opportunities, racial equality and human rights laws are not abided by in Iraq or Iran, so why should laws from that culture be applied in this country, eg Honor Killings??? Small fanatical groups of any religion should not be able to impose their radical views on the silent majority, who is it said it is about time we made our voice heard.... we all want to live our own lives in a peaceful world.

What exactly do you mean by 'integrate.' Are you speaking religiously? Or everyday things. I feel that anyone from another country should abide by their adopted country's laws.
But they should be allowed to worship in peace in their own religion.
I get really angry when a person of a different belief changes, or tries to change, something fundamental in the country they immigrate to. I've never forgiven the courts for a decision they made a few years ago regarding the RCMP uniform. There's nothing more Canadian than the RCMP - it's almost sacred. But a new member who was following the Sikh religion took his battle to court - the right to wear a turban with his uniform, because his religion says Sikhs must always wear this hunk of crap twisted around their pointy heads [I'm STILL angry]. He WON. Six months later, he quit the force. I'm STILL angry!!!

Same as most things, namely not a lot. Most muslims, like most of any religon or group just want to get on with their lives, raise a few kids, have some nice things and die as late and naturally as possible. Dont let the minority extremists run the system.

Why wouldn't someone integrate? Because the country is not giving him/her reasons to integrate. Having to work and being rewarded for the work is probably a good reason. Not working or not being able to find a job should be punished severely. Social welfare rules should be revised...

It's not just muslims who go to live in the UK, open your eyes before you turn into a racist, man...What should Spain do with the dozens of British ex-pats who go to live there and fail to integrate? What should foreign countries do with Brits and Yanks who go abroad to teach English and stay in their little 'cliques' and fail to integrate? I know about this crap coz I'm a Brit in Poland and it pisses me off when Native Speakers come along and just stick with the other Native Speakers and moan about the Poles...

As a Singaporean i dun understand why oth countries have this problem. Here we are told to RESPECT our neighbours and friends. Be it for their race or religion. They would open up if people start being nicer to em n stop trying to judge. Dey start participating and contributing if dey see dat dey mean sumting 2 d community or country. Believe me dey would like to blend in as much as you want em to. AND NO religion believes in harming or destroying people, as a human being you should noe dat w/o being told. Mebbe start by making friends.
Muslims are strictly told not to lie, hurt, to always obey the laws of a your country, always treat non-believers with utmost respect and treat ur neighbours even a non-believer as ur closest relative, that wen you cook u shall share your dishes even if its not enufto feed your family. If wateva u've said is true abt em, den dey my fren are NOT Muslims. Dey are merely people who do not believe in Islam but think they are Muslims.

they can't really do anything. all these new talks of "integration schemes" make me laugh. you can't force people together.
That being said, we work together, live in the same areas, go to the same shops and schools (generally). Most of the population is integrated...its only a small minority who aren't. Watching the news, it said whites complain the asian community are 'unfriendly' to them, but in England, everyone is unfriendly to eachother. Whites to whites included.
But England does not subjugate people and they would never deport people because of their race, unless all this terror meant the BNP suddenly came to power. Highly unlikely.

They will integrate eventually but people seem to expect this process to be instantaneous, it's going to be a hundred years or so before they truely become part of the social gestalt, until then we just have to accept them for who they are.

Show them the door.
As for Malcom X -- it's Muslims like him who are giving other Muslims a bad name. The Muslims who disagree with Muslims like him should stand up and be heard, until they do they will always be suspect -- unforturnate but it's fact.
