Absolutely. Hundreds of millions of people have been killed in the name of Christ, and hundreds of millions more in the names of other religions. The sooner people get over their archaic obsession with faith the better for all of us.

I would hope not, but then I don't know the statistics and I'm sure no one else does. There are so many religions in the world today, and different faiths don't talk to each other, each claiming more converts than the other. Isn't it sad - the one Being who could bring us together has brought us separation, because every church or religion makes the same claim. "Our church is the only true church."

No. Nowhere near as many.

For the record, the number of deaths is probably in the tens of thousands, MAYBE breaking a hundred thousand. You want to compare that to the dozens of millions killed in Mao Zedong's name?

I don't really think it is possible to be saved by a dead man. Generally, Christians who believe that their actions are the will of god as using that as an excuse, as they don't believe that what they are doing is right.
