Most always it stay in your body, sometimes the souls does come out, and is mistaken as a ghost, a few gifted persons know how to travel out of their body in spirit.

Where do you go when you are asleep? Gen. 2:7 says YOU are a soul, not that you are given a soul. "God formed man of the dust of the ground, and reeathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul."

I would think its still there, I mean we still have dreams everytime we sleep, we just don't always remember them. Although I am assuming you are speaking of a physical sleep and not a death like sleep.

Mine uses the bathroom and makes some popcorn to eat while watching my dreams.

nowhere. it doesn't need to go anywhere. as long as you are alive your soul need not be anywhere. with one exception during out of body experiences it might go somewhere. but it has no need!!!
