In Jewish law an uncle may marry his niece. See In re May's Estate, 305 N.Y. 486, 114 N.E.2d 4 (1953) http://snipurl.com/vidz (a Rhode Island law, now repealed, used to recognize such marriages among Jews only).

In many states and most foreign countries first cousins may marry; indeed in Arab countries, especially Saudi Arabia, it is seen as one way of keeping money in the family.

No major country allows sibling marriages. Indeed, Sharia forbids adoption (it allows fostering) and the reason sometimes given is that siblings might accidentally marry. Along those lines, a Virginia doctor was charged with IVF fraud in 1991 because while telling his patients that he was ordering semen from an agency, he actually supplied his own. http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?sec=health&res=9D0CE7DB1539F932A15752C1A967958260 There were worries that some of his progeny might meet and marry: the phenomenon of "genetic attraction" is well known (siblings raised apart who are sexually attracted to each other when they meet in later life).

there wouldn't be anything wrong with it if you didn't have children.
some people can't have children anyway and chose to adopt.
but such close marriages were not approved of because the children can be born with birth defects.
I know someone who was so close to their counsin, raised together and they got married. Just know that it wouldn't be advisable to have children. This site confuses me.
It is ok for two men or two women to marry. But counsins disgusting. No religion allows this kind of marriage.
But who's business is it if they don't have children.

You do not need religion for marriage and marrying your sister or aunt will cause you to have deformed children, read the story of Noah and you will understand why we are gentiles, (gentiles have deformed minds because of it)

If you're talking about cousins marrying each other, it's sick and demented. If you're talking about your mean big brother getting married and moving out of the house then it's a great idea.

No religion that I know of looks kindly on that and I don't think its legal in most states. Who would want to....thats just NOT right.

Only in Alabama.

Sure makes for a messy divorce, though. You still see your sister when you're visiting mom for Thanksgiving.
