Yes your right, about size but I think we stand a good chance of sinking first.

this could be why the sea level is rising, and nothing to do with global warming.

People have corrupted the meaning of "racist." As long as racial groups label themselves and promote their own "culture" there will be races. Believing that races of people exist DOES NOT MAKE YOU A RACIST. Believing that one racial group or culture is superior to others, and that other cultures and groups are inferior and should be subserviant IS RACIST.

The ignorant boobs in America and other places have applied the term RACIST wrongly to anyone who utters a racial label, yet if a black person calls himself black, that's ok. If a white person says something and identifies the "black" cultural/racial group, he is a racist. It is just a new way to distribute hate all over and is part of the politically correct crud so prevalent.

Having the opinion that if people keep moving into this country the quality of life will decrease, that is an opinion that has nothing to do with race. I am not sure putting up a wall around the country will help anything. I think it is a 50/50 split. There are tons of immigrants who contribute wonderfully to this country, and then there are others who are on the dole. There is no way to pick and choose concerning immigrants.

Dumb people are just looking for a reason to hate, so when you say the word immigrant they are ready to pounce. Sorry there are so many ignorant people in this world.

I don't think it makes you a racist really. Growing pains in CERTAIN parts of this country are tough. But there are other parts of the country where there's more room...Unfortunately, immigrants do not settle there because of the types of work they prefer. Which is something else to consider. The thing you may be overlooking is immigrants supply a lot of services to Americans that most Americans now think they are too good to do. And when we do supply those services, we charge an arm and a leg for it.

No, that makes you a realist. If someone says its sizest/racist and can't explain why allowing more immigrants than current infrastructure can support and how to address the needs raised by the steadily growing population from immigrants in the future without failing the responsibilities to the country and its citizens they are more than likely repeating what they hear without thinking it through. Anyone arguing for no borders or unlimited number of immigrants with no restrictions is arguing for dissolution of a countries sovereignty. Expect logical explanations based in reality to back up their claims, other wise its just empty name calling.

A sizest, however we were ALL immigrants to this country, that's what this country is made of. We came, we took what we wanted from the Indians, who immigrated here before most of us, (except those who are part Indian) and America became the 'melting pot' of the world. It's pretty sad to think that some of my ancestors killed off some of my other ancestors Yes there is plenty of 'land' around,, but some of the land needs to remain empty so we can grow crops to feed all of us. ("One Kansas farmer feeds 18 people and YOU)

neither.....there is enough room in this world for all countries to take people from other nations and i firmly agree if someone is being let down by their birth nation then we should all help them out, however, i fear this country is the chosen one because of the state benefits and this can not continue. I know for one my finances are stretched to the limit with the pressure of our benefits system and I am well paid and live fairly modestly. We should apply a rule:- you get out what you put in no more no less x

Neither....but think about this....have you ever been to Montana?? This country can support a population double what we currently have. The immigration thing is a way of control. the people at the top only want certain people in the country...What ever happened to World Citizenship!!

NO it certainly does make you a racist or sizest .
All you are doing is talking very good common sense .
This Country is FULL UP . We cannot take anymore immigrants
until ALL the failed asylum seekers are sent BACK.

Probably a somewhat ignorant "sizest". Get out and see this country, and you will see that we are not yet "full." We should continue to value the contributions of immigrants, as we have since our founding.

***Oops, sorry, my bad. I wrongly assumed you were referring to the US, and I am sure that you have seen more of the UK in a week than I have in my lifetime.

If you think it can't take any more PEOPLE and your reasons are fully justified then no it doesn't. The fact that you are wrong and can't be bothered to look at any evidence because you simply don't like immigrants means that you are. Would you also like to ban people from having children while your at it?
