Both tend to be leftist causes and the premise for abortion is that fetuses aren't human and so don't have rights. The argument that fetuses aren't sentient is moot when you consider that many vegans won't even use products made from insects who don't suffer like chickens in a factory farm. Also veganism stems from superstitious beliefs in some religions that eating meat makes you spiritually and morally impure, so there goes the argument that opposing abortion is based on superstition.

I was raised catholic. I went to a born-again christian church 8 years ago but left after 2 years. I don't know why I left. I was bored and felt so isolated there. So I left for what I thought was the good life -partying with friends, dating men, trying to stay skinny, chasing a life I thought I wanted but realized was just empty and shallow. I became obsessed with psychics and paranormal stuff and spent a lot of time on those beliefs. I married 3 years ago and have a baby now. I even baptized the baby catholic to make my mother happy even though I no longer consider myself catholic. I feel sad every day. My heart is heavy. Years ago I had an abortion & I spent most of today looking at pictures of aborted fetuses on the internet. How could I have done that? I hate myself. I think about suicide all the time. Self-hate is killing me. I want to find christ again and go to church. My husband says the people are hipocrits at my old church & doesn't want me to go.

I have heard many times in my pastoral training that it takes an average of seven times of hearing the gospel before it is accepted. Like, someone usually needs to be presented with the truth seven times before they are willing to accept Chrsit. My question is this: Do you think that this may have something to do with all the Sevens in Revalations?

If you look around the world you will see that 100s of millions of people are under the dark control of atheism. China is one. North Korea is another. Cambodia, Cuba, etc. etc. Literally over a billion people are told not to believe in God by GOVT...If atheism gets political power it seeks to stop " the insane Christians from their silliness ". It seeks to enlighten us to our " error " by force. Have you ever read of the " purging " by execution of the literally millions in Russia, Cambodia, etc. ? if atheism does " allow " Christianity..they demand full control over it.. ( see China ) Do you understand that you can NEVER relax ur hand in maintaining a christian influence on our government ? In my own opinion..to not vote...is a sin. What makes you think that you will be free if atheism gets any political power ? Look around the world and see and keep your lamps burning. Are you supporting the Christian orgs. that lobby for us ?

No body would have noticed the mistake. He could have scraped the whole idea and start over. But, He knew all this before He even created Earth and humans, yet He continued and look what we develpoed into. Why? Why didn't He want earth to be as good as Heaven. Anyone have any ideas? Try to think outside the Bible on this one!!!!

I really don't get it. Whenever I talk about my religion, Tibetan Buddhism, to my Muslim cousins, they always say, "Oh, you worship idols! Oh no!" It's the same with others. Shouldn't people study other people's religions before judging them?! Buddhism actually teaches respect and tolerance toward other religions. All people can achieve enlightment, no matter what religion they are.

Haven't you always wondered this? If God had a daughter instead of a Son, Jesus, what do you think her name would have been? Would this change everything as we know it today? Can I get an Amen?

A friend was saying he believed that a judge sitting on the bench is given his authority by God and, thus, the biblical quotes similarity... That he is given the right to judge or something, by God I believe in Seperation of Church and State and no man is given that right by God. In all truth, it's like talking apples and oranges. It was a strange, confusing conversation. What do you think? If I am not making sense, I am beat.
