I was unable to get up from the computer and I made doo-doo in my pants. Now it smells really bad. Will you say a prayer for me. Will God ever forgive me now?

I have noticed that many peoples answers indicate that they believe more than one religion is accepted by God. Yet, the Bible describes God as "jealous" and says He would tolerate no other gods being placed ahead of him. If we aren't worshiping Him the way He wants us to, how can our worship be acceptable to him? In simpler terms, how many "truths" can there be? 1 + 1 always equals 2. It can never equal 5 or 8.

My husband has a fear of having children. He wants them, but is so afraid of being a bad father. We are both Christians, and I was hoping someone could help me find a bible verse on overcoming this fear, trusting the Lord, and the Lord's views on having children. Thanks and God Bless!

That I am the one true God. Jesus is actually Satan tricking humanity to Ignore me, your creator. Repent now sinners and Worship Robert D, for I am your salvation and path to immortal heavenly bliss.

Follow my teachings and live as I have intended you to live. Satan (Jesus) is the deceiver and with his whore mother will lead you unto eternal damnation.

I am your one true God. Question me and perish in eternal hell fire.

You cannot prove what I say is false, therefore it must be true. Hallelujah.

The references to the romans are thourough-and well thought out-the creation of a savior to keep the people pacified and to bring a difference into their religiouis beliefs as The Jews were rising and becoming stronger and were assembling to bring an end to the tyranny they suffered at Romes hands-to see that the heart of Christianity is in turmoil constantly because of all the mistakes that are clearly delivered by the writers and the bad grammer and how Jesus would turn the other cheek and make pacifist of the resistance that were willing to fight for their freedom-If you do not see the clear indicators that showed not a God but a brilliant device to help to control the masses and also to disrupt the people that were enslaved-and how this WEAPON you call The Bible has been used to cheat people of their lives-with the threat of a Loving God that would burn YOU in a Hell-and so the story goes-until Revelations-where-by God has surrounded himself with monsters-much like Ceasar's court!t

...when they think a question will stump the Atheists? That "I'm going to watch and see what they have to say on this one" attitude? The one that shows they think they are better than others and this particular question shows how they can't be touched? The one that shows they absolutely won't actually entertain any of the answers? You can just see them rubbing their hands together in glee.

I'm not saying that's the norm. Don't you think that's a bit unchristian-like? Or certainly unbecoming? But mostly just sad because even if they read the answers, they don't "get" them? It makes me feel embarassed for them. Is that unreasonable?

What do you consider the Atheist equivalent? And why is it always the Christian chicks?

Why do some preachers use this scripture for the offering time? I don't see any principles about financial success in that scripture. Am I wrong?

Serious anwers, please.

For Christians Love is everything. I understand that the reason why we do things is because our Love and its opposites but I think you will lose the other points. God is not only love. God can also hate the sinners, disobedient, the hypocrites, idol worshippers, if they do not stop and repent. God also can punish you and take you to account. Look at the innocent people's (children) lives that were taken without a just cause and got away with it. God will put those people to account for their actions no matter what they BELIEVE. Love is not everything and this temporary life is not only about love. So wake up and stop relying on someone else 'loving you' and dying for your sins.

Elohim is the name used for God 2,570 times in the OT. Yahweh is used to name God 5,311 times in OT. Jehovah is only used in the Old King James Version. What about some of these names - Creator (Genesis 1:1), Lord (2Samuel 7:28), Sovereign Lord (from NIV), God Almighty (Genesis 17:1), God of Hosts (Joshua 5:14), God Most High (Genesis 14:22), God of Isaac, Abraham and Jacob, The Eteternal or Everlasting, Ancient of Days (Daniel 7:9), The King (Psalm 47:6 - 8), God of Heaven & earth, Holy One of Israel (Proverbs 9:10), God of my Salvation (Psalm 88:1), God our Healer (Exodus 15:26), etc. etc. Get to know God. Isn't this wise?

Since the raging argument will never end, AND since theists are never going to abandon their faith based thinking no matter how many logical and well thought out explanations we give them, AND since critical thinkers are never going to start making insane "leaps of faith" based on the theists' looney pleas, I would like to institute the following method to save us all a lot of typing and exasperation.

From this point forward, I propose we embrace an acronym and simply provide it as a one word answer to ANY AND ALL ASANINE THEISTIC ARGUMENTS.

AMSVDBS

Another
Moron
Seeking
Validation
(of their)
Deluded
Belief
System

Maybe it will catch on, and then we can focus on dialogues with intelligent people who are actually seeking knowledge and an exchange of ideas, as opposed to people who just look for an answer they agree with. Reasonable theistic questions, of course, should still be addressed. At the very least, it will save countless wasted keystrokes. Who's with me?

So let’s find out. How many people out there don't know that human beings ARE primates?
