By doing so it keeps the communication channel free in our mind and soul. It keeps our spirit freer for spontaneous comment without perversion slipping into our conversation.

Does he? Who told you that? Did you arrive at this opinion on your own or was it learned from others of the same like humankind?
I ask these questions because I am amazed at what is said in words to be a precise law that should not be violated. One was suppose to be freed from the law if in fact he is a pure true Christian.
Do not get me wrong I am not saying ask for forgiveness every time one sins or do not ask for forgiveness. I am asking about a stated in place laws included within the question. It is the stated words, "Why does God still expect ".
I do hope you will give it more serious thought and that others who read it sill do likewise.
Now have a great day and keep asking the thinking questions.

The only place where I find something remotely similar to that is when Jesus taught the disciples to pray and He told them to say "forgive US our trespasses" which to me is a prayer for the body of Christ as a whole and not for an individual.
In 1 John 1:9 it tells us to confess our sins and be cleansed, but I don't know of any passage that tells us to ask for something that we have already received through faith in the finished work of Christ Jesus on the cross.

Because he only died for our original sin, not all sins. Up until christianity, people believed that we were all condemned to never get to heaven, since we were conceived in sin, compliments of Adam and Eve. So we are still responsible for our sins once we reach the age or reason, 6 or 8 in some churches,13 in others. up until that age, they are forgiven.

after we acquire Jesus as our Savior, our sins are forged as far because the east is from the west. some element you've gotten finished as a lot because the very second of your salvation is forgiven and coated via technique of the blood. What occurs after we sin now, a number of our rewards we've earned via spreading the Gospel and our impressive works are lost, even if we even if flow to heaven. And those later sins might want to be forgiven if we ask forgiveness and repent. What you're feeling now's the devil's artwork, now not Gods. He has forgiven you of your before sins.

It wasn't bloody enough the first time. See, Jesus only sorta did a good job. He'd have to come back and do it again - make sure to get all the sin out this time.

B/c every time we sin, we take a step away from God. Repentance reconciles our relationship w/ Him. Plus, if we keep sinning (on purpose), and never repent for them, then our relationship w/ Him would be really messed up.

His forgiveness is complete. Confessing to Him our sins means that we are taking personal responsibility for them.

Christ's sacrifice does not give us free rein to go out into the world and make idolaters and blasphemers and liars of the nations. We are to make disciples, and we cannot make disciples if we do not express our faith through our good works. We do damage to Christ's message when we persist in sin, and so we owe it to Christ to ask his forgiveness when we go astray.

He doesn't ask you nor doesn't expect you to ask for forgiveness. It should come from your heart. You should ask him forgiveness not the other way around.
