How come you guys refuse to see the truth? That God is dead. Are you so weak that you cannot handle life without a crutch? Get a spine. Stand on your own. Don't let other's convince you there is a loving God out there. There is no greater pain than false hope.

I have heard it said in my old church "We don't want people like that in our church". A group of people have gotten together to form a church where people will be welcome no matter what their problems may be. Didn't Jesus go to the leper's and the sick and out among the masses? Doesn't every one deserve the right to worship even when they have strayed? We feel that this is when people need church and knowledge of God more than ever. What do you think?

what i'm trying to say is that if there is a huge problem, for example, poverty and child hunger in africa, usually nobody does anything unless it has anything to do with them? pollution, not that many people are interested in solving the polution problem, they just want to buy the best car they can find. who cares if it gives out pollution like crazy, right. drugs, alcohol, smoking, gangs, clubs, negative influence on children. it wont affect them unless the child that is a victem belongs to them.

Was it Gabriel or Michael the archangel, or the Holy Spirit? The above is a tough question, a mystery, since God is three persons in one(Father, Son, Holy Spirit).

The journey of life is so dark and strange, but i guess every step that I've taken has been a locator and channel towards my destiny fulfilment in life. The huddles seems to be unlimited and the inner strength is exhausted to continue, opportunities and chances keep slipping away without any help. The journey has been so lonely and tough to an extend of selling ideas for peanut, because there's no room for exhibition of talent.Meanwhile u' ve been grinded and recycled that u can fit into any shape regardless of the size or condition based on the processes and series of experience acquired. How can someone really discover him/herself for personal development and improvement/benefit of humanity?

Christians only please. Yesterday I asked the Muslims for their answers. Now its your turn.

#1 What do you know with absolute certainty that God will do with you when you die?

#2 What did your Saviour "do" for you to guarantee a desirable outcome for #1?

We are talking absolutes here: absolute certainty for #1 and absolute guarantee for #2.

Extremely long-winded answers that were obviously pasted from another source will not be read. URLs will not be followed.

Answer what you truly believe and are prepared to bet your soul on.

abandonded Christ initially during his trial and at the cross. What do we learn from the disciples in their time of abandoment and the fact that they became stronger after Christ arose and defeated death.

A person who answered another of my questions has not understood why Christians would follow the teachings the disciples carried out in the name of Christ. I do have my own understanding on this and believe that it made the disciples stronger in their faith, hence starting a following of Christ that lives to this day, but I'd like some additional view points. Thanks!

For God is the source of everything and imperfection exists.

For God does what he hates, his creations have done in his image.

For God is perfect he cannot learn of his mistakes.
For perfection is not alone.

I was raised some sort of christian, basically my mother was religious and I grew up believing in god to some degree and my father isn't religious (family background of buddhists and strict catholics). My mother said I can find my religion once I wanted to and I want to now. Just I don't understand the differences between all of the denominations and I know Im not interested in buddhism. I'm going into this with very little understanding of the bible, and I have never been to church (besides family weddings). How do I go about choosing a church? Researching them online hasn't helped much, I find that people choose based on their beliefs and certain aspects of the bible etc.... I am a clean slate.

Why do a large number of Christians believe that the gospels were written by the disciples during Jesus's lifetime? Each of the gospels has vast differences in their accounts of events and quotes and the like. Scholars have determined that they were written several decades and later after Christ's death. If these writers were documenting eyewitness accounts, wouldn't it make sense to write them closer to the time period they occured in, and wouldn't they have 'agreed' with each other instead of having such differences?

Also, it is next to impossible for the average person to remember something that was said or done a certain length of time in the past, especially decades past. And what they are able to recall would be a wild guess, with embellishing it to some degree.

Secular historians only document a very small fraction of events during his lifetime, and none of the things that would have made headlines in that period for being out of the ordinary.
