A Catholic said that, one of the first ones. St. Paul ,in the letter to the Thessalonians wrote this about oral and written traditions.

It is protestant. It sounds like one of the statements made by Martin Luther after he put the letter on the door of the church. By the way I am niether I am a witch, I used to be both Catholic and Lutheran.

Neither. The term "Catholic" had not come up at the time. Nor, of course, did "Protestant." Christianity may not even have been identified as such, then.

Essentially, this was probably written by a Jew who followed "The Way" of Christ.

I am protestant my GF is Catholic and we've concluded. It was said by a Disciple not a Catholic or a Protestant, but a forefather of both.

It was Paul, and he is Catholic in the understanding of Catholic as the universal christian church of all time, rather than a denomination of today. Per the Apostle's Creed... We believe in the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the Resurrection of the Body, and the Life Everlasting, Amen.
