Slaves, Respect Your Masters

Slaves, be subject to your masters with all reverence, not only to those who are good and equitable but also to those who are perverse. (1 Peter 2:18 NAB)

The term bigot is defined (by Dictionary.com) as "One who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ."
Isn't this the very definition of how a great many of the Christians in this country practice their religion?
Why do so many Christians take the "If you aren't with us, you're against us" doctrine?

Be Good Slaves
Slaves are to be under the control of their masters in all respects, giving them satisfaction, not talking back to them or stealing from them, but exhibiting completely good faith, so as to adorn the doctrine of God our savior in every way. (Titus 2:9-10 NAB)

My prayers are with those who refuse to accept Jesus, but I will do nothing to stop you, for your choice is your business, not mine. I pray that you will be guided to the Lord in some other way, if not here. Amen.

Would you read a book if God was a character, but would be made fun of (mildly!)? I just wanted to know because I would as long as it had a good meaning or reason behind it, and because I'm writing it.

Even if you believe in God and Jesus do you still have to get yourself baptized to enter the gates of Heaven? I do love God and Jesus and I thank them for all of the good things they've done to me and that they've led me onto the right path.

I like to pray on my own, I see no need to deal with the people in churches. The ultra-christians that think they are more christian than you will ever be. Having to deal with money and politics.........i just want to pray to god ,know he is there for me, and just live a good life.

My husband and I are making a video for a friend that leads missions in his church to present/ promote missions (they have traveled to Ecuador and Bolovia, and planning more trips in the future). We're looking for a good song to use with a slideshow of pics and some video for background music. Looking for something not overused, We've already done a video with the song "Here am I" by Mercy Me.. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Lo, a day shall come for the Lord when the spoils shall be divided in your midst. Do so many people hate Arabs because of Muhammad, or because of the Quran, or because of Islam?

I am sure Arabs are confused at how their Semitic cousins can get away with murder bacause the Crusaders want them, the Arabs, dead, but if one small group of Pakistanies talk to each other on their mobile phones, international panic is created over some foiled plot to murder thousands of people, and the finger is pointed at the ARABS, in the form of AL QAEDA, and the Arabs are once again branded as TERRORISTS.

This must really be heart-breaking to the millions of Arabs who may not even have time to look at TV or to read newspapers?

And what about the millions of Muslims who feel that this phobia is threatening their freedom to worship the Only True God, in peace?

Arabs ought to do domething about their image or wait until they can get acknowledgment of 6 million Arabs murdered in the present campaign in order to gains some sympathy from their influential friends.

when you see a clock you need no proof to know that there was a wise designer and maker behind that clock, now in a greater scale look at all the order in the universe , coming and giong of seasons, day and night, rain cycle... the way our body works, hormones and.... ... ...
how can you say "oh it was all accidental" ,
the probability that it all is accidental is 0 (if you have studied probability in the mathematics)
why do you want to base your life in 0 probability??.

I mean if you believe in the bible, the Jews have every right to reclaim that land and the Palestinians are just squatters. However, popular eblief is that the Israelis are the aggressors booting out the poor Palestinians. I know what I said is simpler than it really is, so do ALL Christians and Catholics who lives and die by the Bible on the Israelis' side? If not, then the bible is false. Furthermore, along those lines of thinking...what else is wrong in the bible?
