The impetuousness of Peter. A little of the drive and ambitiousness for God's kingdom of Paul. The questioning of Job. Also like a watchman on the wall in the Old Testament.

I like your question. Lately I have been identifying with Job. I am so miserable and I lost almost everyone I've loved. It is not easy to keep it together but I'm still trying and holding faith. I sure wish things were different. I'd rather identify with Jesus, ya know?

I once asked a priest friend if he could see any event since the beginning of time on TiVo, what would it be....he turned it around and asked me your question.

He said he imagined he would have been one of the men holding a stone, preparing to stone the woman caught in adultery. Especially knowing him as well as I do, I found that answer very insightful.

I have often wondered if I would have had the tremendous Love and Courage it took to stand at the foot of the Cross.

Yeah. King David. Because he received grace from God after doing the horizontal polka with Bathsheba, even though the law demanded their deaths. He ended up settling for "Plan B" in his life because of his sin. I'm probably on "Plan F," or thereabouts.

Paul...and David

I'm not trying to be a dick, or a blasphemer, but I identify most with Jesus. I'm not a Christian, and I'm not claiming to be the Messiah, it's just that Jesus' opinions and mine are very similar.
