Since the raging argument will never end, AND since theists are never going to abandon their faith based thinking no matter how many logical and well thought out explanations we give them, AND since critical thinkers are never going to start making insane "leaps of faith" based on the theists' looney pleas, I would like to institute the following method to save us all a lot of typing and exasperation.
From this point forward, I propose we embrace an acronym and simply provide it as a one word answer to ANY AND ALL ASANINE THEISTIC ARGUMENTS.
AMSVDBS
Another
Moron
Seeking
Validation
(of their)
Deluded
Belief
System
Maybe it will catch on, and then we can focus on dialogues with intelligent people who are actually seeking knowledge and an exchange of ideas, as opposed to people who just look for an answer they agree with. Reasonable theistic questions, of course, should still be addressed. At the very least, it will save countless wasted keystrokes. Who's with me?

Guess I need to reiterate...
Looney theists need not reply. That means anyone who's trying to scare me with idle threats of judgement before your imaginary deities, and people who can't answer a question without posting scriptures.
My suggestion is directed towards moronic people who continually ask redundant questions like "Can an atheist prove to me god doesn't exist?" and then select a best answer like, "of course not, they're all going to hell in a U-hall truck." If you ask an atheist a question, and then ignore all the effort we put into trying to explain things, then EXPECT to be called a MORON!

Interesting... about 30% agree, 30% pity me and will pray for my soul (how comforting), and the rest took it as a personal insult.
Well, to clarify again...
1) This is hardly racist. I'm only proposing we classify morons as morons, not all theists (and morons can be any race.) If this bothers you, then you probably already know who you are.
2) Throwing our hands up is always an option, but we're all here to ask and answer questions (ie. share knowledge.) I'm just suggesting an alternative to the constant repetitive drivel.
3) If anyone has a better suggestion to deal with people who simply post questions so they can get validation, I'd love to hear it... and note that I'M not looking for validation... feel free to contradict me... you may get best answer!

I was actually saving this for after I picked my best answer, but I can't resist pointing out that nothing in my question declares that I am an atheist. This question could very well have been asked by a theist and still be totally valid. Is it coincidence that one group seems very defensive? Morons abound on both sides, but if responses can be deemed a sign of self incrimination, it certainly appears that one side perceives themselves to be slightly more moronic.
Just an observation.

I do consider myself an athiest...but this is stupid. How about we all just accept that we believe different things instead. No matter how much someone yells their opinion at someone, they won't be able to change them. Everyone should be able to believe whatever they want.

Sounds great, as long as I can answer all looney atheist questions, such as this one, with the acronym AMSVDLBS, which stands for:
Another
Moron
Seeking
Validation
(of their)
Deluded
Lack (of)
Belief
System
I'm so glad you came up with this system! Instead of practicing sensitivity toward the opinion of others, and respecting their viewpoints, now we can simply call them morons and get 2 points! Brilliant!
* Oh, and by the way, if you didn't gather the sarcasm in this, you shouldn't describe yourself as logical, reasonable, or a thinker.

A well thought out, educated post. A refreshing change of pace from the usual atheistic babble spouted here. I propose a similar yet opposite acronym:
MAD, Moronic Atheistic Doubter.

I'm presently 6 months shy of completing my Batchelors degree in Electronics Engineering. My program of study revolves around spond reasoning, strong critical thinking, etc. However, I still have a very strong faith in GOD. I don't see the connection between your atheistic view point and good reasoning. I have studied both sides of this complex argument. The strength is in favor of creation.
Here are some sites I have looked into:

Acronyms greater than 3 letters must be pronouncable or people will not use them. Trust me on this one. I'm an engineer and everything we say is acronyms.
Just Another Religious Zombie (JARZ)
Faithful Ahead, Take Head (FAT HEAD)
etc.

I can't agree with you. I'm on this website because I am tolerant of all peoples ideas and beliefs, and I am seeking knowledge. When I type something that appears intolerant, it is only to state my current opinion.
I am willing to learn new ideas.

Interesting idea but I tend not to classify people as morons because of their belief system.

Sounds like you are looking for people who only agree with you. You know, this is the Religion & Spirituality category....not the super-duper-atheist genius category. We just are not smart enough to hang with someone of your superior intellect.

Nuh-uh! Classifying people as morons because of their beliefs is another form of racism. Racism is wrong because it makes people feel inferior because of who they are and who God created them to be. Therefore, since I am against racism, and since I believe that there IS a God who watches over me and loves all of humanity, I am against this "AMSVDBS"

A new trend?? As one old theist once said, " There is nothing new under the Sun (Solomon)". Sorry to burst your "modern, forward thinking" bubble.
