Because God is a Spirit.
When Christians ask Jesus into their hearts, Jesus moves in and lives in our hearts.
Jesus is in the heart of every believer, so they take Him with them when they go to church.

That is the amazing thing about spirit. Isn't that when you think about someone you love deeply, you feel as if he is besides you. Sometimes you can even smell his natural scent? There is nothing more sensitive than when you truly believe, there is always almost the presence of the one you are thinking of.
It is not as though he is there everywhere physically but it is your belief system that creates an image that you feel to be true. Remove yourself from believing and you will find nothing of sort. Observe everyone beside you inside the church, you can be sure that everybody there does not neccessarily have the same sensation as you do. It is either one or two of them are faking.

If you accept that the spirit of The Most High God dwells in us then of course God can be in every church because God's spirit is in every one in the church.

Its hard to explain. We will never understand. For us our brain cannot comprehend the Lord. It is like trying to teach a gold fish in a bowl how to drive a car. Physically impossible the fishes brain could not understand.
When you ask Jesus into your heart **i belive** that he then enters you (a peice of him) so he is always with you. And i belive that when you are in church jesus chris is sitting next to you because he is just that amazing.
Im sorry to not have answerd your question but it is so uncomprehendable that I cant understand or explain to you. I would pray for an answer, and maybe the lord will guide you to one! good luck God bless

It is not a matter that he can't be, as he is omni present, but he wouldn't be, because he said there would be many who claim speak in his name, but only a few who do. Just claiming to be a Christian religion does not mean you have the blessing of the Holy Spirit. It is far more complicated than that, as it should be, otherwise, look at all the hate mongers, such as the KKK who claim to be Christan. And, consider Jonestown. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonestown

If you think of God as a being who is outside of the flow of time, then it makes sense.

Oh, and He is everywhere on all other days too.

Usually what people mean by that is that they sense God's presence stronger at that time.

Well .... Jesus is Spirit now. God is as well. Remember that with God NOTHING is Impossiable. Like he even knows how many hairs we have on our heads. He counts all the stars. He is very powerful so you see he is every where. His eyes never stop looking and his ears never stop hearing. What a wonderful fact...

It's what we call a miracle.

God is so far beyond human comprehension that time and space have no meaning in reference to the concept of a divine being.

It would be like an amoeba asking how it can be in your nose, and still not be able to see you.

We are all the body of Christ. Church is not a place you go. You are the Church.
