Why is it that so many people, when they hear that someone is a Wiccan, they automatically think that someone is a devil worshipper and in some way going to hell. How many people have done actual research on the Wiccan faith? How about Paganism? The same thing goes. Why do some people do that?

I am a Christian. I do not beleive in Same Sex Marriages. I am a patriot. I beleive America must remain free for all people regardless of sex, race, religion, or sexual preferences? If two persons of the same sex want to get married, they should be aloud to do so in this country, I beleive that God will Judge them for their actions, but how do I balance that in a political spectrum without infringing on my rights as a Christian to practice my faith? How do I balance my political and religous views without persecuting others??

Hate the sin, and love the sinner seems to be the solution, but this is much easier said then done...

Another thought expiriment, I'm a 29 year old male, unable to get pregnant. Just wanting to see how many people are going to give a lecture about why abortion is bad. To those who read the details you can just type "I read the details" or whatever your heart fancies, check back in 10 minutes to see who typed "NO ITS MURDER" or some equivalent.

Curious, what if the details said "IM A 15 YEAR OLD GIRL AND MY FATHER AND BROTHERS RAPED ME". (oh smack a real question for those who read ALL THE DETAILS)

the bible was written over 2000 years ago by men after/before the death of jesus. how do we know this is real? this might be a bunch of fables in a book, i read in the Da Vinci Code, that there has not been a definite bible over many centuries and the bible has been edited by roman emperors and many popes. how can we trust this book that might be lie?? Can we trust this book that is supposedly the words of god? is there a god? is this book merely more than a bunch of fairy tales? can we trust this book? i want the truth!

This question is more a thought expiriment to see how many people will tell me not to do it. I'm married but many people don't read the details and are just going to spout off stuff.
This is based on an answer from another agnostic today she did a similar expiriment and she is married with kids, as I am, and got the lectures from people who didn't read the details.

I have always had lust problem and recently it started to feel unbearable. I became extremely depressed and frustrated about the fact that my life is being controlled by the lust problem no matter how hard I try.
I have prayed so many times to God to help me be free of this problem but I keep struggling. I am 24 now. I have had it for 8 yrs. At this point, it seems like I am dealing with something beyond my power. The temptation of lust is very STRONG for me for some reason. It is not something I can just control at will.
And I am saying this after countless efforts and tries. I am truly fed up with my lust problem and I just wish it would go away. If any Christians could give me any insights or advice, i would appreciate it.

Why does Jesus suck? Why do Christians worship Jesus, but they have never seen, and just heard of him in a book?

Not that it really matters or can change my faith but I am curious how they REALLY feel about us.DO you hate ALL of us or just SOME of us? Or do you just feel we are foolish and misguided?

It didn't work (for those of us with siblings) with our parents, so why should it work for Nations? This type of cop-out sickens me to the core. Violence begets violence.

Is it a realistic goal, in the 21rst Century, to eradicate fundamentalist religion, ie: those sects of modern religion that cause violence.

Examples would include terrorist groups, and those groups that blow up abortion clinics.

Essentially what this question is - is all can we hope for is to eradicate those religious organizations that seek to do violence, and live peacefully amougst those religions, who the worst we can expect from them is "you are going to hell if you don't believe as I do"

I feel it is a neccessary goal to whipe out those who want to whipe out me, and to do so before they do me. THis is one of the reasons I support the Bush foreign policy. When a Democrat is elected in 2008, the war on terrorism will continue, so it will go forever and ever, until the scourge of fundamentalism is eradicated.

What are your thoughts on this?
