This question is more a thought expiriment to see how many people will tell me not to do it. I'm married but many people don't read the details and are just going to spout off stuff.
This is based on an answer from another agnostic today she did a similar expiriment and she is married with kids, as I am, and got the lectures from people who didn't read the details.

I like your thinking, Mr. Jim. I said God didn't care if you had the piece of paper or not, as long as it is done from a place of love (a term I did not define) or from the heart...I had no idea I was issuing a brave statement at the time...whoa-wee!

What details???

Anyway, I am a firm believer in pre-marital intercourse. I think at least one person should know what they are doing on the wedding night! (Doesn't matter if it's the man or the woman).

I read a survey (run I think by the Skeptics Association) which found that people who had around 12 partners before marriage had the lowest divorce rate. Any lower, and you risked getting curious to see what you missed; any higher and your partner tended to get jealous and insecure.

I always read the details, because they are necessary to provide an answer to the question. Case in point, this question!
If you actually care about the topic of pre-marital sex, then I would have to say I think it's unrealistic to expect people to wait until marriage. Now, if you're talking about a 13-year-old engaging in premarital sex, I would have to say DON'T DO IT! Sorry, I lectured.

An interesting little sociological experiment. No most people will not read details or they will skim them quickly. Some go on gut instinct with the first question, some just don't like reading and some don't have patience for details.

I've read the details 2x now and still don't know what you want to accomplish. It seems like ignorance looking for more ignorance. Have you read the community guidelines? You have posted a vague question to order to make a personal statement.
"Thought Experiments" have no place in Yahoo Answers.

Haha, where's the question ? I think pre-marital sex if better than waiting until after you're married. I could only imagine finding out my husband is actually a woman or a hermaphrodite. That would really need an explanation.

Waiting for marriage doesn't necessarily have to be because of religion. It's the fact that most people have sex too young and end up regretting it, which is why people recommend waiting. Most people don't read if the details are too long. I always do. Cheers.

haha, nice idea. cant wait to see how it goes.

and for all the other readers out there spouting off and whatnot, pre-marital sex isnt shown to increase divorce rates. BUT living together before marriage has consistently been proven to GREATLY increase the chances of divorce by up to 85%, keep that in mind everyone.

Hi, i'm not going to give you the satisfaction of a lecture, because you already know people are going to tell you it's wrong. I will leave the lecturing to God on judgement day.

Tell you not to do what? Your already married so how the **** could you have pre-marital sex. Why don't you try an experiment on how many people don't know how to spell experiment or use spell check, start with yourself.
