You speak of hellfire and eternal damnation. But what of chimney filters? Think of the people that live in the neighborhood, for the love of Christ.

I have no interest in public speaking and find mindless chit chat to be a waste of time. What other methods of persuasion are available to an aspiring cult leader / prophet?

10"Our land lies in ruins now, but we will rebuild it better than before. We will replace the broken bricks with cut stone, the fallen sycamore trees with cedars." 11The LORD will reply to their bragging by bringing Rezin's enemies, the Assyrians, against them-- 12along with Arameans from the east and Philistines from the west. With bared fangs, they will devour Israel. But even then the LORD's anger will not be satisfied. His fist is still poised to strike. 13For after all this punishment, the people will still not repent and turn to the LORD Almighty. 14Therefore, in a single day, the LORD will destroy both the head and the tail, the palm branch and the reed. 15The leaders of Israel are the head, and the lying prophets are the tail. 16For the leaders of the people have led them down the path of destruction. 17That is why the Lord has no joy in the young men and no mercy on even the widows and orphans. For they are all hypocrites, speaking wickedness with lies.

Actually, I understand your Pascal's theory very well. Don't you think that as a rational, thinking human being, I have considered the fact that the religion I follow might be the wrong one? Of course. Otherwise I would be blindly following something without good reason.

But I HAVE thought about it, and have come to the conclusion that Christianity is the only option for ME as the true religion. And, for goodness sakes, I also know that Christianity has only been around for a short time. That is because Judaism, which has been around MUCH longer, led to Christianity. They merged and became one and the same as many Jews accepted Christ.

It doesn't matter that Judaism today does not agknowledge Christ, I will still accept the Old Testament as the truth, with the theory that people parted after Adam and Eve were thrown out of Eden, creating all of the other religions today to fill the emptiness in their lives-caused by being away from God. 1 Christians displays a consistent and almost unwavering opposition to modern science. More than anything, this reveals their preference for ideology over facts, reality, and reason.

2 Christians are Anti-Feminism: Traditional religion accords both men and women limited and restricted social roles based upon their gender. The fact that men’s roles are more powerful and public is something women are supposed to simply deal with because that’s God’s will.

3 Christians are Anti-Sex: Christians position on sex is that it exists primarily for procreation and should only occur within marriage. Christians defend policies which appear to have no other purpose than to punish extramarital sex. Even opposition to abortion appears to have more to do with punishing sex than with preserving life.

4 Christians are anti-liberty: It would be highly unusual to find Christians backing any sort of expansion on what people are free to do. Control is a christian doctrine.

Are Christians oppesed?

mizzgreeneyez is obviously mentally retarded. We have to find a cheap and effective way to prevent her from breeding. Until we can get her tubes tied, I say we take immediate action by sealing off that stinky cavity she calls a vagina. if we don't she'll spread her legs and a crack-neega will impregnate her. Don't let her make another baby! She is already sucking enough tax money in the form of welfare! HELP!!!!

Given that "we" are actually several races and sexes, in terms of phenotype alone. There is a lot of variance. How is that variance accounted for? Is it just seen as error in the imaging process? Or does it imply that the original encompasses all variants?

What is your view on the following;
All religious figures have preached a message of kindness and love, passion for life and compassion for the living. Under the banner of various beliefs we march to do service to humanity. Well-how about a change folks? How about we be kind to one another not out of getting good Karma or pleasing a God or getting to heaven? Lets be kind for the sake of kindness, for the good in itself. If we do it for a belief we dont do it with love and respect for the person we are kind to. So, let us impress with our personal faiths and express with our respectful kindness. That way perhaps we may all be dignified without trampelling on others over belief. Kindness in every act, love in every word, appreciation of the action in its doing, not in its reward.
What do you think that kind of living might achieve in the world?

PAUL SAID, "God is not the author of confusion," (I Corinthians 14:33).

But there are fossils. Evidence that animals, not mentioned in the bible, lived before man.

There are earthquakes. Evidence that the earth's crust is moving and changing slowly over millions of years.

There are viruses that mutate, adapt and survive. If mutation that aides survival becomes the dominant trait, then evolution is real.

People are cured of illness in hospitals. A Doctor says, "there is a natural cause for what we see here. If we understand the natural cause, then we can heal many more people suffering from the same condition."

In other words, it is only by assuming that God is imaginary that science can proceed.

THERE ARE ONLY TWO passages in the Bible that speak directly to the issue of abortion, and both indicate unequivocally that abortion is not murder:
• In Num. 5:11-31, God commands a husband to get an abortion for his wife if he suspects she has been impregnated by another man. A priest is to make her drink a potion and tell her, "If any man other than your husband has had intercourse with you, may the LORD make an example of you . . . by bringing upon you miscarriage and untimely birth."
• In Ex. 21:22-25, God tells us what to do if a man who is brawling knocks against a pregnant woman. If the woman dies, the principle of "life for life" is invoked and the man responsible for her death must be killed. If she lives but has a miscarriage, then the death of the fetus is to be compensated for by the payment of a fine, as demanded by the woman’s husband.

To deliberately cause a miscarriage is to perform an abortion. And who brings about this miscarriage? God.

It is a standard argument that graphic sexual imagery contributes to the repression of women in society and encourages men to treat women as sexual objects. The religious conservatives saying these things, though, don’t invest any effort to fight other means by which women are definitely repressed, like differences in pay, or other ways they are treated like sexual objects, such as the idea that women belong in the home either pregnant or raising children. But both of those ideas are supported in the Bible!!

If you say it's a CHOICE to be a HOUSEKEEPER, and serving your man is rewarding. All of those people in Porn are adults CHOOSING to produce it. Many of them are rewarded in many ways. Who are you to judge?
