1 Christians displays a consistent and almost unwavering opposition to modern science. More than anything, this reveals their preference for ideology over facts, reality, and reason.

2 Christians are Anti-Feminism: Traditional religion accords both men and women limited and restricted social roles based upon their gender. The fact that men’s roles are more powerful and public is something women are supposed to simply deal with because that’s God’s will.

3 Christians are Anti-Sex: Christians position on sex is that it exists primarily for procreation and should only occur within marriage. Christians defend policies which appear to have no other purpose than to punish extramarital sex. Even opposition to abortion appears to have more to do with punishing sex than with preserving life.

4 Christians are anti-liberty: It would be highly unusual to find Christians backing any sort of expansion on what people are free to do. Control is a christian doctrine.

Are Christians oppesed?

And you seem to be anti-Christian. I am Christian, but I am not anti-science, anti-feminist, anti-sex (though I am anti-abortion), or anti-liberty. What is more, I don't know any Christian who fits this description. So please stop generalizing and propitiating stereotypes. Don't you realize that by doing this you're give non-Christians a bad name too?

maybe you should do some research before you go spouting what Christians believe and read the bible while you are at it. God says not to have sex outside of marriage and if you would just look around you can see the results of not following that. Divorce rates over 50%, children having children, total chaos, kiddy porn, etc. True, God gave each certain rights but also said that the female wa to be subservient to the male because it was she that fell by eating of the forbidden fruit first and then coerced the male to eat of it. God made man to be over women for a good reason but did not say he should make her a slave. Anti sex? Guess you have not been in any Christian homes as they have sex as anyone else does but they just wait to have it till they are married first as God said it should be done. And not just to procreate but for the joy that it was to bring. And as for anti liberty? Where do you get your information from? People are free to do whatever they please, they have free will which means they have the choice to do whatever they want to do. No control whatever. Just because most want to do what God says rather than what Satan tells them does not mean they do not have the choice to follow Satan if they chose to do that. Better get your facts straight before you begin throwing lies around that are not true in the least.

The heritage of the Christian church is the heritage of obdurate competition to human progression. (Sir Bertrand Russell, i imagine) to quote purely one social gathering: Anesthesia become adamantly adversarial with the aid of the church. yet at the same time as Queen Victoria used it in childbirth, then the clergymen had to offer up their preaching about how suffering is the human project and that is sinful even to target to lessen or eliminate soreness. Endorsement of slavery; competition to female suffrage, divorce guidelines, and abortion; competition to technological awareness at each and every step from Galileo to Darwin and previous; endorsement of Prohibition and the idiotic "warfare on drugs"; etc and on and on. certain, Christianity is anti-modernity. All religions are. present day existence is in conserving with reason, and reason is the only component adversarial to which faith can't stand.
