I have no interest in public speaking and find mindless chit chat to be a waste of time. What other methods of persuasion are available to an aspiring cult leader / prophet?

Not long for a thumbs down. And talking of sheep I have an excellent shepherd!

What you have to do is to persuade a few people that you have had a vision or some divine revelation, with some evidence of it's veracity. I doubt if anyone has been succesful just promoting their own ideas., except perhaps Ron L Hubbard, founder of the Scientology movement.

Then when your followers preach your message it's got to be seen to work.

But why do you want to do such a thing, it is only of value if you are following truth.

Buy 'biz plan' software, make a mission statement, surround yourself with people better than you.
