kabbalah is an (esoteric) extention of judaism. That some crazies have tried to pluck it from its source and present it as its own religion is simply ridiculous (and demonstrates how deeply they do not understand it).

no one who knows what the kaballah is "practices" it -- it is not a religion or a set of rituals, but a way of interpreting biblical text and (upon attaining a level of education and spiritual heights) getting closer to understanding more levels of the nature of god and god's relationship to man.

its kinda mystical and occultic as I understand it

personally I would avoid it, I would not consider it Biblical
