Why does Jesus suck? Why do Christians worship Jesus, but they have never seen, and just heard of him in a book?

Have you studied anything about religion other than someone dragging you to Church? Have you ever explored what Christ did and taught with his life? I have a feeling you would think differently if you studied for yourself rather than go on what you think He represents.
BTW, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1) I have understood about Christ since early childhood . . . can't explain how or why since I grew up in an nonreligious family. I have always felt drawn to the scriptures and often attended a local church alone. I have always sensed his reality. Worshiping Him has not been difficult.

I have a theory.....
whether jesus walked the earth or not, I have no idea, like you said, I've never seen the guy. regardless, he is the idea of perfection, something for mere humans to strive for. an ideal who gives us hope when life sucks, and teaches us how to celebrate when the fates have been kind

Why do people automatically think that because someone else doesnt believe in something that somebody else does, its stupid and horrible and the worst idea ever? Well if people didnt believe in stuff like this the world would have been destroyed by now because they didnt believe in anything

Why would you say such a thing, Jesus is our Lord and Savior, maybe not yours, but He is mine. The book you are refering to is the Bible, it is the word of God that is why we believe. It is called Faith. May God bless you.

first of all you dont suck (real christian responce there) it's all based on faith. i feel that your all good if you treat others as you would be treated and live life in a productive, civic minded, unpredudice, loving, kind to all man, and forgiving way. just start with that.
