Yeah a ran into God at the Home Depot just this afternoon. Looks like you called the shots on this one ...He was, indeed, stocking up on duct-tape. The bad news is ...when I looked in his cart and asked him about the staple gun ...your name came up.

Hold the duct tape. Let's balance this question out shall we. I am sure some one out there is asking the same question about us christians.
We know where we stand with God in our hearts and minds. The atheists have just as much right to their opinions as we have to ours.
What we need to understand as Christians is that God is such a gentleman and he will stay out of people's business. The only way to get His help is if we ask for it. What ever the question may be. We asked Jesus into our hearts. Now the atheists do not want Jesus in their hearts. Yes, we are to witness, no we are not to push anything down any person's throat.
Jesus is not something that we buy or sell. So lets leave the atheists in His hands. We can pray that God changes their hearts by opening their spiritual eyes. God gave us all a free gift
some of us (christians) accept His gifts and some of us (atheists) do not. We can't force them to take a gift if they don't want it. God put obsticles in our way so we would become stronger in Him.Please do not blame the atheists. When Jesus was hanging on the cross remember what he prayed to the Heavenly Father. Forgive them for they know not what they do. Ignorance even finds a place of forgiveness with God unlike the law enforcement
officers who says ignorance is no excuse of breaking the law. God's laws are different then ours in the spiritual aspect. Yes, He does expect us to abide by the laws of the land. I do not want to give scriptures because I am not witnessing or judging and I do not want it to appear that I am. Be patient with the atheists, have compassion toward them. Do not pray for patience. Just ask God to put them in His hands and protect their soul until at such time they except Christ. They may not except Christ for almost 1/2 of your life, but one day because you planted a seed some one else will began to water it. Some one else will prune it, some one else will transplant it and God's will: will be done with that particular soul. We are not judges, we are not Jesus pushers, so let's pray and in years to come lets see what God does with the atheists lives that you know today. Let it go after you pray. Give their souls to God and let Him work. You did a very good job by witnessing and sharing all you could. We are not robots we all can't become Christians just because we might want it that way. I wish every one was Christians, but see something happend in Heaven.Lucifer God's most beautiful angel became rebellious and he wanted a kingdom of his own. When Lucifer decided he wanted Earth then 1/3 of the angels fell with him. Now we know his name as Satin and his helpers are demons. Satin is the one to blame and his demons. Some people say that the whole thing started when Adam and Eve were in the garden. Try to love everybody and pray for their souls. It is a challenge that God has given us. I hope you enjoyed the nondenominational christian history lesson, and what I heard when I was younger too. God bless you and keep you safe and all our yahoo friends and acquaintences. If you happen to be atheists then Good luck and peace to you too. I like answering your questions too. Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall........have some fun and finish this. Matthew. Look up beattitudes in the Bible.

Never! God (Jesus Christ) is the true creator of the democratic society - it's called 'Free Will'! Atheists are expressing their 'free will' - which is also a gift from God (Jesus Christ)! And you thought democracy was an American concept! If you wish not to believe in God (Jesus Christ), you have the 'free will', to choose to do so! If you want to spend eternity in Hell - you have the 'free will', to choose to do so! That's why it doesn't bother me that people choose - I understand the gift of 'Free Will' given by God (Jesus Christ)! No, God (Jesus Christ) will never duct tape their mouths - He can not take back the gift of 'Free Will'!

That won't happen until it's time for judgment and they have to see how their lives have matched up with God's laws.
"There is no fear of God before their eyes." Now we know that whatever the law says it speaks to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and the whole world may be held accountable to God. Romans 3:18-19

Whenever the mouths of christians are also duct taped.
Be real & stop being prejudiced. Everyone has a right to speak. You don't want to hear it, then don't listen.'

He can't, because he has promised everybody agency, and taking away that would be going against his word, which would be lying, and God is perfect so he cannot lie.
I'm excited for the day when we are all in Heaven and seeing the atheists reactions. It'll totally be one of those Kodak moments.
