Now I'm not sure of the exact religions involved but I'm guessing it has to do with Christianity. It never fails, atleast once a week some random guy stops me on the street and trys to pawn off a pamphlet. They apparently want to save me but I have already saved myself. I consider this to be harassment and sometimes it's the same guys who catch me on my way into work. My 2 questions, why do they harass me and can I go to the police about this? I've told them countless times, I have my own beliefs and I am not interested in joining them on their journey. They just aren't getting the hint and it's becoming really annoying to the point where I sometimes want to take the long way into work.

I've heared that the jewish are often dissed by christians because they sapposedly crucified Jesus( I think that's why Hitler went on that horrible jew killing rampage along with the nazis) We'll in history, it tells that it was the ROMANS crucified Jesus because the roman empire was afraid he was going to cause a rebellion with the ever growing band of followers of the christain faith. I don't know what the bible says (cause I don't read it) But I'm sure it says something else. (Sorry if i by any means offended anyone)

Other the a lightning bolt to the cranium!

I beleive it would most likely be impossible to prove 100% but is there something in your mind that if you saw proof of this or that would/could that do it?

Or would it take something on more of a personal level with God that you would think that it had to be a sign?

...esp since during His 3 yrs of ministry, He mainly quoted OT & clarified OT & denounced man-made traditions which were contrary to God & His Word!

In the beginning was the Word; the Word was with God & the Word was God
God give the written Word at Mt Sinai; Moses wrote it as the Torah
God sent His Salvation (Yeshua) as the living Word

Christians are sure that Jesus is the true god, how do they know its not anyone else? Every follower of god/gods has faith in it, it does't prove anything...

Do you choose ideas about self and world that best satisfy your need and aspiration to achieve and maintain happiness and good health? Do you choose to build a framework of myth and fantasy based on what is possible within the realm of mystery that produces the most powerful emotional responses of joy, faith and love imaginable? Do you choose to build a foundation of truth and knowledge based on scientifically reproducible discovery that produces the most powerful physiological responses of good health possible? Do you combine your foundation and your framework to form your model of self and world? Do you choose to behave according to a standard of conduct that best satisfies your need and aspiration to achieve and maintain happiness and good health? I wish us happiness and good health.

I do believe everyone has the God (whether they believe in God or not) given right to believe whatever and in whomever they want. It is free agency in it's purest form. Thanks for your honest reactions, good, bad and indifferent.

last week because she could not tell me what she was taking it for. I told her that when she can give me an answer about what communion is and why she wants to partcipate, then she can. I am an athiest, but my children go to church with their grandparents so they are getting religious education from the christian point of view and from an athiests point of view. Do you think it was wrong of me to ask her to wait until she understood the reason you take communion.

Each religion with an exception of a few has their own god, right? So if there is only one god, which religion does he come from? Or do people who beleive in god, bow to the same guy who does double duty everynight at prayer time? To me, it doesn't make any sence that there is THE ONE AND ONLY GOD yet each religion has their own. Can someone please explain it to me?

"I believe that the Jews have made a contribution to the human condition out of all proportion to their numbers: I believe them to be an immense people. Not only have they supplied the world with two leaders of the stature of Jesus Christ and Karl Marx, but they have even indulged in the luxury of following neither one nor the other." -Peter Ustinov
