First reason they don't belief what he said.
2nd reason they don't believe what his followers say about Him. (I find it amusing when people call Jesus a great teacher and then imply he failed as a teacher saying his followers got it wrong.)
3rd creating new revelations and doctrines is a great way of both seeming to be spiritual while getting massive ego strokes.
4th Because God's enemy is the best conn artist out there and loves to give people all the proof they need to walk away from the truth, God's word.

Dear All,
I am an Esoteric Christian and I attend the Unitarian Universalist Church in the city where I live. So I can only speak for myself, as other U Us will have different ideas.
I have a relationship with God the Father. It is not with Jesus. I don't believe Jesus was the Son of God. I believe that he was only a man. Jesus is supposed to have said, "I am the way, the truth and the life." What Jew would have said that in any age at all?
The Bible is just so full of contradictions, I just cannot understand how anyone can believe it is the inerrant word of God.
For example, where did all the water go if God flooded the entire Earth, in the story of Noah?
The Church as we have it now, was a creation of the Roman Emperor, Constantine the Great, at the Council of Nicaea. Until then people believed what ever they liked and one of the beliefs was that Jesus was only a man.
Yours T,
Marcus.

religions besides Christianity are able to look at Christian history objectively, whereas Christians do not choose to look at their own history objectively. Instead, they look at it through biased eyes, and therefore do not see the truth. For everyone else, history makes it obvious that Jesus was a man just like every other man, and that the idea of him being God or the son of God was an idea which slowly evolved among the early Christian communities. It is hard to accept a falsehood as truth when that falsehood is so blatantly obvious AND the mind is not biased.

Because we are all the sons and daughters of God, but Christians need to learn something: they do NOT have a monopoly on God. God is many different things to many different people. If you believe that God created all things, then God created the Hindu religion, the Jewish religion, the Native American religions, the Muslim religion, etc. Chew on that for a while. I also suggest you read the book "The Golden Bough" for a very interesting take on the history of religion - it will "open your eyes".

Why don't you accept Krishna or Rama or Mohamed or Buddha or one of the other so-called prophets as the son of god? If you can't then why should someone else accept Jesus? Just because you believe in it doesn't mean the whole world has to believe. Educate yourself about the world around you. It might make you seem a little less ignorant.

God does not have son and he does not need , God does not have wife and he does not need because he is God not a human being. Jesus was just a prophet no more no less, he has a other but he does not have a father and this is acceptable like Adam and Eve. Eve was created from a rib of Adam. I hope that my answer is enough for you.

Many religions have difficulty with the claim that Jesus is the son of God.
The general reason why is that Jesus is the essential fact of the Christian faith. If people have issues with the Christian faith then the best way to deal with it is deny that Jesus was god.
Unlike some other faiths, Christianity has a strong historic backing that supports the claims of scripture, and specially about the time Jesus was here on earth.
Hang on to your faith in Jesus...

Every false religion wants to take Christ out of the picture. Either Christ offends them because He requires you to change from your carnel nature and follow His example. Then there are the people who have a hard time accepting the fact that they can't earn their salvation and take on a more works based religion, such as JW's (which is based on a blatant lie). Anything that puts Christ on a lower level than is in His spoken Word is false.

Because G-d HAS NO SONS. G-d's true Messiah will be an ordinary human..son to son descendant of King David...AND the true Messiah will RESTORE David's line and he will have sons who will take over after he dies.
Jesus's bloodline disqualifies him completely of being the Messiah.
Also:
The Messiah will unite the scattered Jews who in the time of Jesus were not yet scattered as they are now.
The true Messiah will restore Israel and will bring complete world peace. He will accomplish this in his lifetime and does not have to die and come back later to finish.
He will live a long worthy life
Many more things

There were many profits and wonderful people of the world during the BIBLE times. Some are still waiting for the masiah because they beleive "he" hasn't come yet. Lots of people have lots of beleifs and because I beleive that Jesus Christ was the son of God I don't exactly understand why others do beleive he wasn't.
