Here is what happened: The Romans held political authority. In order for any capital punishment to occur and be legal, the Romans had to authorize it. And the Romans carried it out.
The Sadducees wanted Jesus to be crucified but didn't have the authority. They plied Pontius Pilate until he relented. He did not find Jesus guilty of a crime, but he was in unstable political territory and he didn't want any trouble.
Pilate did not want to oversee the Jews' disputes about God and the Messiah. He had absolutely no interest. What he was, was a politician who was serving his time at an outpost until he got appointed to a grander duty (in his eyes). In order to maintain peace, he had Jesus crucified after hoping that the people would select Jesus to set free instead of Barabbas.
It's all in the Bible. Just look it up.
But the point is that people killed Jesus. It doesn't matter who.

Yes, it is.
The Romans crucified Jesus to appease the Jews. Historical fact. People who say Jews did it either: don't know the whole story, or are summarizing to keep it simple.
Prominent religious figures in the Jewish community initiated the decision.

Many people say this, and it is the origin of antiJewish sentaments, because the Jewish leaders brought Jesus to the Romans and demanded that they (Romans) put Him to death. The Roman Governor refused twice, but finally gave into the Jewish political pressure. It was the corrupt Jewish leaders who caused this to happen. It was not all Jews, that is for sure, just the jealous and corrupt leaders who felt Jesus was a threat to their authority. And so we cannot rightfully accuse the Jewish people as a whole because all of the Apostles and Jesus, mary, and Joseph and many early Christians upon whom we base Christianity were all Jewsih. We also can't blame the all the Romans or the Itallians. What was Pilot supposed to do? His job was to keep the peace. Was he supposed to take Jesus into protective custody?

Technically yes he was, but the Jews are the ones that kind of 'gave' him to the romans. The Jews didn't really care that he claimed to be the son of god. They had a choice to free him or Barabus (I think that was his name), a known theif. So the initial killing was by the romans, but the Jews played a hand in it as well. See everyone forgets the romans were involved as well. But everyone forgets Jesus was a Jew until they blame the Jews for killing him. Weird huh.........?

True.
Both Jews and Gentiles were reponsible for his death (not just Jews).
The Jewish high council (Sanhedrin) met and held a fake trial at which they condemned Jesus to death. However they did not have the power to kill Jesus. So they had to turn him over to the Roman Authorities.
The Roman Governor (Pilate) was too weak in character to take a stand to save Jesus (though he did try, because he was convinced that Jesus was innocent). Pilate ultimately gave in to mob pressure and had Jesus flogged (by Roman soldiers) and then crucified (by Roman Soliders).
Ultimately, You and I are responsible for Jesus's death (because He died for our sins, to enable atonement between us and God).

The romans may have done the deed, but it was the religious leaders of the jews that had it done. Pilate, the roman governor actually tried several times to release Christ as he could find no fault in him. But the religios leaders of the pharisees forced the issue and had him killed. They wouldn't do their own dirty work, so they blackmailed the romans into it.

This can be found in the gospel of John chapter 11:45-51
45Therefore many of the Jews who had come to visit Mary, and had seen what Jesus did, put their faith in him. 46But some of them went to the Pharisees and told them what Jesus had done. 47Then the chief priests and the Pharisees called a meeting of the Sanhedrin.
"What are we accomplishing?" they asked. "Here is this man performing many miraculous signs. 48If we let him go on like this, everyone will believe in him, and then the Romans will come and take away both our place[c] and our nation."
49Then one of them, named Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, spoke up, "You know nothing at all! 50You do not realize that it is better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish."
51He did not say this on his own, but as high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the Jewish nation, 52and not only for that nation but also for the scattered children of God, to bring them together and make them one. 53So from that day on they plotted to take his life.

Because...the Rabbi's of his time were "religious," and Jesus was a threat to them. Look at what they had done in His Fathers house. They had set up a market place (which angered Him). He herded out the animals, turned over tables and told them not to desecrate His Fathers house. Yeah, made the Rabbi's mad, they had a racket going and Jesus didn't like it.
They feared Jesus...and pushed the Romans to crucify Him. Which they did...
BUT it was all part of the Fathers plan. Jesus carried out His Fathers plan and died for our sins. It was His will to follow His Fathers will.
Grace to you and God Bless!

Because the Pharisees arrested him and took him before Pontius Pilate and demanded he be crucified. The Roman's actually did the deed, but to get technical, humanity's wickedness is what brought along the need. So, everytime we sin is like nailing him to the cross.
The wages of sin is death, Christ paid our wages, his gift is eternal life. It doesn't matter who physicaly killed him, it had to happen for us to be redeemed.

No, Jesus is neither killed by the Jews or the Romans. Jesus said no one can take His life away; but He willing lay down it for us. It was our sins that Jesus died for to redeemed us. We are the reason for His death!!!
