I'm thinking that if God is real he would give us a way to know if he's real and know the truth about other things. He gave us a brain, so we must have the ability to know the truth. Mabye our pride, and emotions, or denial get in the way. Maybe we know the truth in our soul, but not our mind sometimes. What do you think?

Or rather IS there a right religion? I'm really confused about that. Should I just give in to one and decide that what they're saying is correct? And as for Christianity, which way should I go, should I be a Jehovah's Wittness or a Catholic? Please help me out.

I got prectical proof that Jesus is Lord. Not only me but mine three ex-partners in sins. We were sinners to the powar 1000 and did sins all three of us togather. We evan did sins with animels. But evarything chenged the day we accept our Lord Jesus. We become normal haterosaxuals from parvart homo-besatials within momants. now we feel to have women as wives in our lives.still singel--tried hard for years. this is trial from Lord Jesus that we accept.
Is not it the miracel and absolut proof that Jesus is Lord that we changed to normal and homo-parvarets among u non-beleivers never can chenge?

Was just a very charismatic man? Or perhaps him and his followers were all taking hallucinagetics? Or a combination of both? Since my teens I have discussed this issue with many people, and I got answers ranging from the obvious miracle worker to him smoking weed. What do you honestly think? Jesus was documented in history, not just in the bible. This isn't a bashing session, so please keep rude comments (ie burn in hell you Athiest) to yourself, thanks!

The Egyptians had history of more than 10k years but was not recorded. India has a recorded history of more than 7k years. China has recorded history of more than 12k years. Now the Chinese are very clever people, invented paper, gunpowder, porcelain etc. So if the world was created 6k years ago, I bet my bottom dollar it was the work of the Chinese.

Okay my cousin and I often come to this question when we begin to discuss Heaven and Hell! Being Christian we believe that you make it to the Father through Christ. Still the question is left.. What about the Jews? and we both agree that they are God's chosen people so perhaps they will have grace during judgement for denying Christ as the MESSIAH as prophesied by Isaiah and wont be cast into the depths of despair. Now Judaist and Christians alike answer me this? The covenant which the Lord made with Abraham pertained to a race and not a religion right? The lord made a promise to Abraham's seed, his lienage a promised land for him and his childrens, children, and so forth. This explains Paul over emphasis fo them to throw away the old Law and adapt the new! because after the renewed covenant with Christ we were all to acknowledge the sacrafice of Jesus. So I suppose the what I am digging for is that God promised the Jews the real heritage of Abraham and not the religion promised land

For the past few years I've been having experiences like hearing or seeing ghosts. Smelling odd things that arent around like tobacco or perfume. Things disappearing and turning up later in a completely different place. Like once my glasses were on my nightstand and the next morning they were on the floor on the other side of the room. Unexplained cuts. I wake up with cuts on my arms or legs. Now I have small cuts on my fingers and long deep cuts around my wrists. I've never cut and I dont have finger nails that i could accidently scratch myself with. Its happened in various places like home, my dads, my aunts, anywhere I stay and there arent any sharp things around my bed that could cut me. Also I seem to be more sensitive to parnormal activity during summer while my grandmother had more epxeriences during winter. I was wondering if theres a reason people have more experiences during certain seasons. Any explaintion would be appreciated.Thanks!

Agnostic, not wanting to convert anyone.

You all know about the intelligent design debate. There have been answers to my questions today saying we should teach the Truth to our children, about God and Jesus. Which Jesus?

A woman three nights ago told me she prayed and got a car from Jesus. She said this is the 3rd car she got from Jesus since 1978. Is this what we want in public school science class? That the human is so complex it requires a designer, a creator, and 99% of the proponents of intelligent design are evangelical christians, so naturally the "creator" is God/Jesus. Does this mean my son will learn the "truth", that Jesus will give him a car?

If for no other reason then to keep children away from false teachings of Jesus, heck they can't even get evolution teaching right in school, shouldn't religion be kept out of public high school?

Intelligent design is a religious concept. Shouldn't it be kept out of school?

Ok, so last night I turned off all of the lights & my went to lay down on the futon in our living room. For some reason, we decided to sleep there instead of our bedroom. Anyway, I was laying there with my eyes closed for maybe 3-5 minutes (not even close to falling asleep), and all of a sudden with my eyes closed I see flashing lights, and then I open my eyes & wake up my husband & he saw it too & jumped out of bed. The light in our hallway was flickering/flashing like crazy for a few seconds at least, because I had time to put on my glasses & turn on the kitchen light. My husband ran to this light after it turned on by itself, and was going to turn the light on, but he noticed the switch was up now, which neither of us could have done since we were 8-10 feet away on the futon. I was just wondering if anyone could possibly give some kindof logical reason for this, because we can't come up with anything that would explain everything. We were really freaked out by this episode.
