No matter what you say on this site you will anger someone. You are a believer and you will be persecuted for it on earth and yahoo answers! Don't worry about it. Just continue working for The Lord.

No anger here. I would, however, take a look at the beliefs and implications behind the question and see if they are in sync with Unconditional Love or if it's more in sync with an unconscious ego desire to separate, judge, or to make one feel special. This can be very subtle and the overwhelming majority of us don't have the level of self-awareness and honesty needed to discover these kinds of dynamics. If one says that there aren't any of those dynamics, then the next thing to do is to look at the concept of god that is being presented -- does it look like Unconditional Love (acceptance, non-judgment, no sin, no hell, etc.) or does it look like an ego projection (striving, getting rewarded, others getting punished, etc.)?

I honestly believe that God understands why the atheists are angry. And your presumption that they will answer to God shows your thinking has been effected by the Christian church who is way off base.

Of course these statements are going to make atheists angry.

it's okay if people get angry. don't worry about it. ask any question you want. I ask a lot of questions that p#ss people off. A lot of it's hypothetical and just to see how people will respond anyway. If people want to get angry, that is their choice.

It didn't upset me one bit. Its good to ask questions like that and to explore how people will respond to questions like that. You seem like a really nice person.

I don't know if I answered your question you are referring to, and if you made me mad, I do apologize. I'm still learning, and if you wouldn't mind, I would like to chat with you so maybe we could learn together. Let me know.
