Maybe the word of God that you speak of is in actuality the word of Satan? Why do I ask you this? Because the word enshrines Satan as the ruler of the Earth in the present. We live in the present. Sure there is a promise in the word that in the future a good one in Heaven will rule the Earth. However the word also says that no one but a good one in Heaven can say when this will come to pass. Right now, we are told by the word that Satan rules the Earth. So for all intents and purposes the word commands believers to affirm Satan as ruler of the Earth. Abramic Religions are Satanic Religions? Believers will in some cases fight to the death to promote their belief in Satan as ruler of the Earth?

This has alway come across my mind, but I really haven't heard anything about it. What did he do in that gap of time? What do you think is most likely he did if you also haven't heard anything?

An example below shows that jesus wanted this guy to give all that he has to the poor and not to the religious authority.

Luke 18

18
An official asked him this question, "Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?"
20
You know the commandments, 'You shall not commit adultery; you shall not kill; you shall not steal; you shall not bear false witness; honor your father and your mother.'"
21
And he replied, "All of these I have observed from my youth."
22
When Jesus heard this he said to him, "There is still one thing left for you: sell all that you have and distribute it to the poor, and you will have a treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."
23
But when he heard this he became quite sad, for he was very rich.
24
Jesus looked at him (now sad) and said, "How hard it is for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!
25
For it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God."

...why do you think the Jewish Pharisees wanted to kill him?

"If you have seen me Philip, you have seen the Father".-Jesus
"I and my Father are one". - Jesus

Muslims refuse to believe what Jesus said about Himself and then have the audacity to say he was a prophet.
Doesn't that sound very hypocritical to you?

Would a prophet lie?
Muslims refuse to believe Jesus died on the cross; they reject even the most basic historical facts.....like for ex., that jesus was a Jew....well, i guess you can figure out why Muslims don't want to admit Jesus was a Jew!
Is for the SAME reason Arafat said, "the holocoast never happened".
What a bunch of anti-Jewish bigots.

Curious as to if Christians keep the Sabbath Day holy how do they keep it holy?

What would you suggest? No tv, internet, just visiting and basking in the Lord or what?

I knew of a mormon that every Sunday he wouldn't watch any tv, no internet, no shopping, all he did was go to church and visit other people. He would go to an extreme to not talk about such deep topics like sex.

It is going to happen the way it is going to happen. Isn't the more important focus on living the Christian life in accordance with Jesus teaching? Why are the in-depth focus on last things.. most buid on straw man theories anyways

From the throne came flashes of lightning, and rumblings and peals of thunder, and before the throne were burning seven torches of fire, which are the seven spirits of God

If you don't want to have a child, you can always choose not to have unprotected sex or use birth control, so how is it a violation of choice unless the sex wasn't consensal. But with sterilizaton, you wouldn't be able to have a child even if you tried.

i mean god is some one with higher being and jesus was a man in HUMAN form with human emotions and feeling including flaws.where does it prove that jesus was a god if he was he did not have to come down to earth and get killed in first place he could have just said up there poof and all of our sins would have been gone. the purpose of religion is to stop us from doing bad things but then if jesus already forgave our sins then why do we as christains even do good things because apparently jesus (god) already forgave them.i mean no offense but this sounds just so stupid and greeky.in greek religion gods used to come down to earth in human form.it sounds like a fairy tale that jesus was a god.muslims believe there prophet Mohammed was only a (PROPHET) NOT GOD and jews believe that david and joseph were only (PROPHETS) christanity is the only religion that actually says that there god "CAME" to earth in "HUMAN" form muslims and jews believe in jesus as a prophet but christains....

Would you be forgiving and merciful? Or would you be a fire-and-brimstone God? Would you want people to worship you fervently and ceaselessly try to convert everybody?

Would you demand that your followers strap dynamite to themselves and blow up huge crowds of non-believers?

Would you show yourself?

Would you lie to people and promise that you'd let them into Heaven just to see what kinds of things you could get them to do, then laugh while you threw them into Hell?

Would you pretend to love all people just to get what you wanted from them?

Or would you be fair and treat all people as if they were your children?

In many countries in the MIddle East, if you do not believe in their religion, you can get the death penalty. But in the United States, we have the first Amendment. It guarantees the freedom of speech, but it also does more than that. It also give every American the freedom of press and freedom of religion. I think that the fredom of religion is what ticks of all those dumba s s terrorists. To them, if we dont believe in their god, then we deserve to die for that reason.

Anyone agree/disagree?

I was raised Catholic, (baptised, recieved first communion, and confirmed)....but I was forced into going to church and because of that, I HATE churches. I think my parents' plan really backfired.
BUT I think that I've reached a point in my life that I need to be around more positive people and provide better role models for my kids. I also want to become a "second time virgin" and meet a great Christian guy (I want the best father for my girls). And I want to wait till we get married before we sleep together. I do beleive that it helps prevent a lot of marriage problems. So my question is, how could I meet such a guy, and become Christian without going to church. I really don't like churches.!

NEW = 3 letters TESTAMENT = 9 letters, therefore 3 X 9 = 27
39 + 27 = 66 books in the bible

Because I hear people say that they think morals come from religion or the even bolder ones say directly from God. So you are saying without religion you'd be completely lacking in emotions like empathy and compassion? For example, the Buddha never heard the name Jesus (because he hadn't been born yet) and never the notion of your "one true God" and yet his religion is older than Christianity and actually states that the only emotions you should feel if you're enlightened are unconditional love and sympathy. He also called it delusional to believe in a deity, doesn't sound like he was up on religious practices. Was the Buddha simply an agent of the antichrist or do you think God gave us inherent morals or will you finally admit you're wrong?
