He gave us free will to choose. But died for our sins to make it possible. And it is called the trinity father son and holy ghost.
The Trinity
God is a trinity of persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Father is not the same person as the Son; the Son is not the same person as the Holy Spirit; and the Holy Spirit is not the same person as Father. They are not three gods and not three beings. They are three distinct persons; yet, they are all the one God. Each has a will, can speak, can love, etc., and these are demonstrations of personhood. They are in absolute perfect harmony consisting of one substance. They are coeternal, coequal, and copowerful. If any one of the three were removed, there would be no God. (See also, "Another Look at the Trinity")
Jesus, the Son, is one person with two natures: Divine and Human. This is called the Hypostatic Union. The Holy Spirit is also divine in nature and is self aware, the third person of the Trinity.
There is, though, an apparent separation of some functions among the members of the Godhead. For example, the Father chooses who will be saved (Eph. 1:4); the Son redeems them (Eph. 1:7); and the Holy Spirit seals them, (Eph. 1:13).
A further point of clarification is that God is not one person, the Father, with Jesus as a creation and the Holy Spirit is a force (Jehovah's Witnesses). Neither is He one person who took three consecutive forms, i.e., the Father, became the Son, who became the Holy Spirit. Nor is God the divine nature of the Son (where Jesus had a human nature perceived as the Son and a divine nature perceived as the Father (Oneness theology). Nor is the Trinity an office held by three separate Gods (Mormonism).
The word "person" is used to describe the three members of the Godhead because the word "person" is appropriate. A person is self aware, can speak, love, hate, say "you," "yours," "me," "mine," etc. Each of the three persons in the Trinity demonstrate these qualities.
The chart below should help you to see how the doctrine of the Trinity is systematically derived from Scripture. The list is not exhaustive, only illustrative.
The first step is to establish the biblical doctrine that there is only one God. Then, you find that each of the persons is called God, each creates, each was involved in Jesus' resurrection, each indwells, etc. Therefore, God is one, but the one God is in three simultaneous persons. Please note that the idea of a composite unity is not a foreign concept to the Bible; after all, man and wife are said to be one flesh. The idea of a composite unity of persons is spoken of by God in Genesis (Gen. 2:24).
There is only one God
The first step is to establish how many Gods exist: one! Isaiah 43:10; 44:6,8; 45:5,14,18,21,22; 46:9; 47:8; John 17:3; 1 Cor. 8:5-6; Gal. 4:8-9
"I am the LORD, and there is no other; besides Me there is no God" (Isaiah 45:5).
“Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel And his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me," (Isaiah 44:6).
"I am the Lord, and there is no other; besides Me there is no God, (Isaiah 55:5).
The Trinity

Therefore, the doctrine of the Trinity is arrived at by looking at the whole of scripture, not in a single verse. It is the doctrine that there is only one God, not three, and that the one God exists in three persons: Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. An analogy would be time. Time is past, present, and future. But, there are not three times, only one.

Nowhere in the Bible is the word Trinity mentioned or supported in the scriptures. If you do some deep research you'll learn that the concept of the Trinity was gradually developed into a doctrine by the 4th Century. The trinity doctrine itself has pagan roots dating as far back as Babylonia. The worship of pagan gods grouped in threes or triads was quite common. Interesting to note is that this influence was prevalent also in other ancient peoples before, during and after Christ.
The trinity is a central teaching of many professed Christian faiths. This leaves the question if this were a "central doctrine" then why would none of God's prophets teach the people about the trinity or why wouldn't Jesus use his abitily as a Great Teacher to make the trinity clearer? Or would God inspire many pages of Scripture and not use any of this instruction to teach the trinity?
Jesus himself acknowledged many times that the "Father" was greater than him. Just as Jesus is the son of God, likewise today no son could be higher than his own father could he? The thought of Jesus even being equal to God didn't even cross his mind.
(Philippians 2:6-7) New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures. I invite you to look at your own personal copy of the Bible if you have time. There is only one God, his son, and his holy spirit existing as three distinct entities. (1 Timothy 2:5) Jesus wouldn't contradict himself from by saying he was God when he earlier said he was not equal to him. Rather Jehovah and Jesus are described as one in the sense that they are agreement with each other. (John 17: 21,22) That is why in the scripture he is requesting ones who put faith in him to be one with the Father. Would that mean that people putting faith in him are part of the Trinity. No. And even when God constituted the first marriage between Adam and Eve he didn't mean they would literally be one flesh. (Genesis 2:24 Rather they would be together in unity. The key word here is unity. To find more information about the trinity follow this link. http://www.watchtower.org/library/ti/index.htm

God is God and there is only one GOD and in the 10 commanments it say there is ONLY one God.
Jesus is the son.
God is the Father.
Jesus, however, did things through God that no man really did before AND Jesus said WE CAN ALL DO THESE THINGs.
We can ALL bring life with a touch (ever heard of CPR, maybe Jesus had an even more advanced format for this), we can ALL walk on water (Paul or PEter also did this momentarily), we can ALL heal.
We are formed by God in his likeness. Therefore everything that God is we can also be, except ETERNAL.

Jesus is not "a" God. Jesus was God made flesh. The book of John, chapter one: "In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God.....the Word became flesh (that's Jesus) and dwelt among us". He was a man, yes, but He was also God, and without sin.
Yes, if you believe in Jesus, and repent of your sins, they will be forgiven. But this isn't lip service. Accepting Jesus Christ as one's Lord and Savior is only the beginning of the Christian walk. Getting familiar with the bible is very important. Why? Because that is how we come to know the character of God, we see what Jesus taught, how we should live.
If you love God, you'll want to do as He says. You'll also find out that the way He asks us to live is far superior to any other way of living. It calls for patience, mercy, forgiveness, self sacrifice, compassion, all good things. It is not an easy life, but a born again Christian has the holy spirit to guide them. It is a fulfilling and beautiful way of living.

good question
first we christians would not say he is a god but that he IS GOD. the one and only.
It is a nice philosophy that God can 'poof' our sins away. but they are like a cancer that can not be brought before God. (ie cant go to heaven) - If I had a glass of clear clean spring water and I added one drop from a dirty toilet would you drink it?? God had to do some serious cleaning. punishment had to be served because God is righteous - all three religions say this- therefor he can not just say 'forget about it' with sin. 'time has to be served'. That is why he who never sinned died so we who have screwed up could get the pardon.
oh christian do believe in the Jewish prophets - very much in fact it their writings are foundational, many of them talked about the coming of Jesus, in fact to this day the Jews are waiting for the messiah that will rule Israel forever.
Mohammad could not read and had a mixed up ideas about both christianity and Judaism, but had some things right on - like there is only one God.
sorry too long - I hate long answers

I am also God's daughter, however I will never think that I equal wtih God the creator of this earth. I believe that Jesus is real and I believe that the Bible was true. But you must know that not all people are not called to God because he knew from the beginning what we would do when he appealed to our hearts.
It is up to you what you believe and we all have to answer on our own for our belief or disbelief.

First Jesus wasn´t "a god" , Was God itself
to elaborate without any disgusting explaning just would say this
women´s produce milk for their newborn. Is this milk equal to anything else (water , or other animals milk, nor even to another hhuman milk) and even though it is make to give awayand is no a body part it is made of thesame substance of the mother .
In this way even though Jesus is a part of God with the purpose of being given to people on earth it is God itself coming to us

Jesus declared that He was God, God the Father declared that Jesus was God, the people who knew Him declared that he was God, the soldier that watched Him die declared that He was God, and Jesus proved He was God by His resurrection from the dead and ascension into heaven.
The Jewish prophets of old that christians actually do believe foretold the coming Messiah, Jesus fit the description perfectly and fulfilled it completely. Jesus also proclaimed that He would send the Holy Spirit after He left, that was clearly evidenced at Pentecost in the book of acts, witnessed by thousands who saw and believed. The list goes on and on, the reality is that man seperated himself from God by sin, God restored that broken relationship by providing His own sacrifice through Jesus.
It is like a fairytale, praise God it is true.

Hmmm... let me explain it as I understand it:
If you take a look at John 1:1 it says something like:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God
The "Word" is referring to Jesus.
But Jesus is not THE God... not Heavenly Father, Jesus is God's only begotten son on this earth...
WE (all humans) are spirit children of God the Heavenly Father and we lived with Him in Heaven before we came to this earth to receive the gift of a Physical body. And Jesus is the First of God's spirit children... he is much older than the rest of us... he was also perfect in Heaven... he followed God's will... totally...
And, so God gave power to Jesus to create the Physical universe after it had been created in spirit by God Himself...
After Jesus had created the earth (including man) he spoke to Adam and Eve... and all of the Prophets of the Old Testament...(and more)... So He is God of the Old Testament... for he was speaking FOR God the Father...
but... Jesus has no earthly father like the rest of us... God is his physical Father too... with Mary as his mother...
this is important... Jesus is God's only BEGOTTEN son on this earth...
because of this, Jesus has power over life and death... which is how he resurrected... and how he will resurrect us ALL.
For the Trinity... well... there are three seperate beings: God the Father, who has a Physical body; Jesus Christ, God's only Begotten Son who also has a physical body; and the Holy Spirit who does not have a physical body... three seperate entities or beings... but they all obey the same will... the will of God the Father.
