This has alway come across my mind, but I really haven't heard anything about it. What did he do in that gap of time? What do you think is most likely he did if you also haven't heard anything?

Part IV of the Urantia Book is dedicated to the complete life and teachings of Jesus. It tells the story of his entire life, from his birth all the way through his death and resurrection. It starts at Paper 120 and goes through the end of the book - Paper 196. If you haven't read the rest of the book already, you may want to start at Paper 122 because 120 and 121 make references to many concepts which may not make much sense if you don't have the background from Papers 1-119.

The Gospels briefly tell a few things that happened when Christ was born, and when he was a child. The Gospels show that Christ knew who he was even when he was a child, and he did perform some miracles. But the majority of the miricles happened after Jesus was Babtised, starting when he was Babtised, and almost un-ending miracles from that time on until he was raised from the dead, and ascended to heaven after he was crucified.
People have thirsty ears and the enemy wants to make us feel like the Bible is imcomplete so that he can add to the Bible and lead us astray. There are many false teachings saying that Christ went to India. It's all nonsense meant to make you feel like you know something that was a mystery. The Bible predicts that people will have itching ears wanting to hear new teachings, and false doctrines, and will follow false prophets, and "soothsayers", who say what you want to hear rather than the truth.

There is no doctrine about the life in Nazareth. The church has always believed that Jesus was fully God and fully man.
There have been some Roman Catholic communities that model a spirituality after the hidden life that you talk about. They live very simply and serve the poor, pray and live the gospels.

The Bible says that he "grew in favor with God and man". This shows that he grew up and was well thought of. When the Bible does not speak of something in detail it's because it is not that important. ie: The date of Christ's birth...there is no record of the date because it was not significant. However Jesus told us to remember his death which is recorded to the very day and hour.

None,so rumours abound. One is he went to India and learnt about peace and hippiness. There is the one about Jesus went to live in Cornwall, Britain, where the druids taught him the mysteries. Then there is the story of how he learnt about sacred mushrooms in Siberia. Feel free to create your own Jesus myth. They have him appearing to everybody on every continent

The only mention of his youth is the incident in which Jesus is accidentally separated from Mary & Joseph when they are visiting the city. They are very worried about him being missing, of course, and they eventually find him at the temple, discussing theology with the wise men there (and apparently impressing them with his own wisdom). When his parents scold him for worrying them, he tells them that "I must be about my Father's business."

The writings are not in the bible, but there are documented records showing he was in India during that time. There are records from a ruler (Maharaj) as well as from other figures (Hindu and Buddhist priests). There was also a program on A&E about it.

This is the period in which the so-called Perfect Jesus, was making mistakes and learning through his mistakes. The church does not recognize any of the books dealing with this period.

Heck no! The Bible gives some clues but they are very vague. I have always questioned that too! I guess he was a normal person like me or you until he was baptised by John. If you ask me, I think it is all BS
