Jesus just doesn't love Mel Gibson. See, Jesus was a Jew. The king of the Jews, in fact. Mel seems to have issues with Jews. And Booze.

Because Mel Gibson is not Jesus' Robot. He has a mind of his own, and has to live with the consequences of his own actions.

Of course Jesus is here to comfort Mel during this difficult of his life. Only men of little faith can't see that happening, that's all.

Because He works everything out for the better so He has a reason to do things... Mel probably learn not to drink to much again...

Mel made a choice to drink and is suffering his consequences. God said to follow His law and man's law so Mel is now reaping what he sewed. It could be a great wake up call for him not to drink because those actions in the bar were definitely not Christian-like and therefore making a bad witness for God. Mel needs to bend his knees instead of his elbow!.
