i dont think that six is a perfect number but instead seven. my reason for saying that seven is a perfect number:
1) there are 7 heavens and 7 hells
2) there are 7 days in a week
3) 7 seems to be most people's favorite number
4) 7 is also considered a lucky number
5) [probably the most important] God did creat the earth in 6 days but he made 7 days and on the 7th day he rested
that is why i think that 7 could be considered a perfect number because on the 7th day we pray and rest
(sorry but this has nothing to do with religion) on a side note i think that 2 should also be considered a perfect number because it is the only even prime number.

I don't think that it is six that is perfect. If I remember correctly the number three is because it represents the trinity. Six, I think is supposed to be a mockery or the opposite of three.

Biblically speaking, the number six is the number of man. It is the number seven that is the number for spiritual perfection.

6 is a symbolic number in a creation story, using the human concept of a week (w/ a rest day). Again, symbolic.
