Don't be wimpy or cowardly about it....this is the greatest experience of your life, the ultimate climax of your being, the moments in which you change from person, to object. You will be remembered by this incident forever. So how would you like to die? (it can be arranged ;)

Christianity, Judiasm, Hinduism, Bhuddism and Muslim religions all share the common ground of " Love and Peace to each other, we are sister and brother".

Why is this evil terrorist disease trying infect a peaceful people and in turn hurt their own people?

I know they are not happy about the middle east situations, no-one is!!! Nobody wants to see innocent women and children and men being blown up for nothing!!!

If they want to hurt the government hurt the government!

Leave the children alone!!!

Give them a chance to live some kind of normal life rather than living in fear.

Pray for peace.

Pray for a solution not war!

people who are not christian who are in a region of the world where missionaries are not present end up in hell, right? because they have not "accepted" jesus, they are banished to hell for all eternity, right? if they live in a remote region that is virtually inaccessible and missionaries haven't yet arrived, they burn in hell, right? and god is love? right?

Why?

my question was about the bible
and it asked how it was possible that people lived so long in the bible.
some of the first humans in the bible lived 100 or more years and i wanted to know how this was possible
when just 200 years ago 60 years would have been uncommon for a man to live that long.
i can only say that i offended the bible bashers with my question
and must have been reported.
this just shows how weak the story of the bible is.

As Christians, you (were probably raised to) believe that every other religion is wrong. But if you were born in the Middle East (and were raised) as a Muslim or in India (and were raised) as a Hindu, would you still have such faith in Christianity?

Do you see that Christianity is just another religion and that there are about a thousand different religions and faiths. What makes Christianity the best? And don't bring the Bible or Jesus into it, because every religion has it's holy book and god.

Give me one good reason why Christianity is better than say Judaism or Scientology. And then give me one good reason why any religion is better than the other. See how absurd the whole idea of religion is in the first place?

And I'm targeting Christians because Yahoo Answers is only available in the United States, where the center of Christian extremism is. Plus, there are way too many questions posted by Christians about how their faith is the best. Please stop promoting lies!

Why are some christians some of the most closed minded, ignorant and intolerant people on the planet.
Isn't the whole point of Christianity supposed to be about goodness and loving your fellow man?

Why are they so judgemental when the bible teaches not to judge.

This confuses me. Our perceptions and memory our based on the phsicality of our brain and our senses. If the soul is seperate from the physical being it must therefore be seperate from sensation and memory.

Supposedly the soul transcends the physical reality and goes to heaven or hell. In doing so it must shed everything that is physical that includes sense and memory.

I heard a passage from the Bible that said that all of the people who have died will rise from their graves for some reason or other and THEN go to Heaven after the Second Coming. It's the one where their bones put on flesh. Does this mean that no one has gone to Heaven yet?

Please cite the passage, if you know it. Revelations, I think.

I don't mean to sound like Obi-wan Kenobi here. I've heard people talk as if "truth" may be two different things to two different people, depending on their perspective. I have always found "truth" (about anything) to be very specific and unrelative to my position. What do you all think?

Fallwell is on ropes, he may have to tag Tinky Winky!! OH NO, its getting bloody this is a no win situation! Somebody grab a folding chair quick!!!

If they believe something that outrageous why not believe in the Lord? I guess they are afraid to stop sinning.

If you insult me in anyway you get reported!

For those of you that do believe in it, what would be the point of accepting Jesus and converting to Christianity when the decision is already made?

For those of you that don't, isn't God supposed to be all-knowing, therefore He should already know who will go where?

Honestly, I've been sifting through the Religion & Spirituality questions and it's shocking how often I come across book, chapter and verse along with preachy preachy preaching. Sometimes they don't even ask a question, they dive right into their sermon.

Do they feel so desparate to score a few more "saves" for the Lord that Yahoo! Answers becomes nothing more to them than a platform from which to harrass Jesus into our lives?
