Yeah, those enthusiasts. yet How come wars looks to look on the demo's watch as properly. WW i substitute right into a Democratic Prez Wilson deal. The WW II substitute right into a Democratic New manage Prez Roosevelt. Korea got here with Truman. A demo . Vietnam substitute into inspire by applying the Kennedy's, as substitute into Bay of Pigs, and the nuclear showdown with the Blockade of Cuba. An all Democratic initiative. Johnson went to Vietnam with 500,000 boomers and Nixon withdrew them. An arch Republican Nixon withdrew them, i comprehend, he withdrew me. Clinton did the Bosnia element, and if no longer for the bright Wesley Clark we'd be screwed yet good. Clinton wasn't he a democrat. Bush One did a style on Iraq, and set the tone of the armistance. Bush 2 does no longer enable the treaty violations slide and is now doing Iraq in certainly one of these way as to seize each and every Arab properly worth killing into the field. If Iraqies die, properly, what else do they could do? So how can we correlate the non secular to those wars. The non secular have a brilliant experience of "we vs them". they seem to assist our troops whereever they're despatched. no longer purely like the democratic left, that can commence em, and has concern ending them. Their consortum of flaks, liberals, peace at any value, and previous hippies in basic terms has concern with the essential artwork of wars. The conservates have not got this concern. they're very severe approximately those products and could hate you consistently in case you're making relaxing of them. Being very liberal and intensely non secular would not look to slot interior the comparable field, yet very conservative and intensely non secular will fit. compliment the Lord, bypass the ammo. isn't the conflict cry of the liberal. Almost all religions adopt an atheistic attitude towards all other spiritual beliefs. "I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours."

If you believe yourself to be right, then logically anything that disagrees or cannot coexist with your perception of religious truth must, by default, be wrong.

So that's an almost "yes". I'm sure there are some who will state "other beliefs aren't 'wrong', they're just another path towards the same end", but most religious folk, if they're being honest, will say "unfortunately it's my way or the highway".

If one belongs to a religion that's tolerant of others, then they won't think that everyone else is wrong. The idea of "I'm right and everyone is wrong" is pretty unique to the Abrahamic faiths.

I think that all religions are flawed, but many have some truth. I don't think the religion one belongs to matters as much as how that person behaved in life.

Larry,

In a sense, 10,000 of them are deluded. They are all pursuing the answers to life's largest questions, but they are all looking in the wrong place. Religions, in general, are shadows, of Truth. The seeking of Truth, is the highest pursuit of mankind. Truth, is that which transcends both time, and space. It is that, which does not vary, and is not subject to the beliefs of man. Truth, is not affected by the religious beliefs of human beings. As our race has evolved, we have been constantly aware, at a certain level of consciousness, that there is a Higher Power. Throughout our history, our image of this Power, has evolved with us. Note that I said our image, has evolved. That which we know as God, has not changed, per His own declaration. Religion, consists of men's attempts to catagorize, explain, and yes, franchise, God. All of them have failed, and all of them will fail. You cannot create a system of understanding on the human level, that even approaches the magnitude of God's existence. From the beginning, there has been only one way, to approach God. He will accept us, only as individuals, not members of some faith system. The only membership God is interested in, is our membership in His family. We were created to be His children. When we come to God as humble children, and invite Him into our hearts, He sends His Spirit into us, and bonds with us. We become new creatures, part mortal, part Immortal. The old values of materialism and fear, fall away. Love and Wisdom, become the foundation of all our choices. We have embarked on the Path of Eternity, and we will never be the same again. No man made religion, can take the place of this Spiritual Rebirth. No relligious ritual, can substitute for our spiritual surrender to God's will and Fatherhood. There are 10,000 paths to God. The only one that will reach Him, is in your heart.

As of right know I can get a stone and start a religion and have followers for what we see as right. That does not make it the right religion. We can bow down to that stone but that does not make it God.

No, they're not.. They're aware of what they have been taught, and, like Christians, they THINK they have the right information.
Unfortunately, the King James Version of the Holy Bible tells me the truth, and so, I must spread the word to the lost about Jesus.
I will not force anyone to believe, but, I will give them the information they need and they can then use it as suits them, and I can only hope that they make the right choices.
