I'm only offended when egotistical christians want to "convert" me without being wiling to respect my beliefs. I get along fine with christians who are humble and listen as much as they talk.

If you think there is nothing you can learn from "non-believers", then you are a fool. If you think you have all of the answers, then you are delusional. If you think that non-believers should be converted or forced to submit, then you are psychotic and a danger to humanity.

We get Offended By the Non Stop fantasy. Do you see Us asking questions all of the time about Athieism? No ! Christians seem to think that they have the right to pester anyone and everyone with there beliefs. I do not care if you want to be a missionary do it on your own time! One More thing Stop coming to my door. BTW it is not just Jehovahs witnesses anymore the Baptists are doing it as well!

I am not offended when a Christian wants to talk to me. I get offended when they will not take a polite no from me. No, I will not go to your church. No, I don't believe the way you do. I get offended when this newer religion tries to tell me I am going to burn in Hell for my beliefs in my religion. I get very offended when Christians start their holier than thou attitude. We are all God's children, not just you "saved" Christians, so get off your bandwagon and start living the Bible you preach. God said to judge not. Who are you to tell me I am going to burn in Hell? Are you my judge? You are saying you are. That goes against the Bible right there.

I have some felt some real "Satan Worshipers" in this group. You Will never win, Satan is just tricking you in your mind to be offended. Of course, Satan is offended when you speak of the Christ full of love, and a God that made you. You think you want to control your destiny, but when it is all over, guess what, you have no control. These sweet people of believers are just trying to save your behinds, and you get offended, because the Prince of the World, Satan, has convinced you otherwise.

I don't think they see it as the Truth, so I could understand the rejection part. I don't get why they are so offended. If you don't believe, just don't believe and get over it. If you are in a huff, that means you are probably wrestling with the idea that you MIGHT actually believe...

Why do Christians become offended when non-believers question their faith? Is there some doubt in "the truth"?

Maybe it's because we know we are going to hear stories about myths that have not been proved (and we don't agree with brain-washing).

Maybe it's because we don't agree with people who go to war and then say that God sent them.

Maybe it's because we are also wary of groups that are interested in other people only because of their wallet$. We've all seen how Jim & Tammy Faye Bakker lived. See the attached article.

I think the truth is indeed scary to some non-Christians.

Also, many people are offended by the Christian claim to unique truth.

Cordially,

because they basically use "plug the ears and close eyes and run their mouth" stragery which mean christian absolutely refuse to listen to ANYTHING anyone tell them and avoid any question they fear will prove bible as a load of fiction stories pasted together. It's no fun to be around people like that.

i'm offended when they preach their beliefs to me because they don't know me or my beliefs. And I'm not trying to be rude or mean but in repsonse to "The truth Scary?" what makes you think that Christianity is all true?
