I would like to hear from as many different religions (Judeo/Christian and non) as possible. If you don't use one of the terms at all, that is ok too.

A heretic is canonical term used by the Catholic Church to discribe someone who has been bapistised and knowingly teaches falsehoods.

"Heresy is the obstinate post-baptismal denial of some truth which must be believed with divine and catholic faith, or it is likewise an obstinate doubt concerning the same; apostasy is the total repudiation of the Christian faith; schism is the refusal of submission to the Roman Pontiff or of communion with the members of the Church subject to him." - The Code of Canon Law

Infidel has the latin root fide or faith. So it means non-believer.

An infidel is anyone who does not agree with your religious beliefs.

A heretic is someone who tells you why you are wrong.

I havent heard either term being used in my current church.

I am an evangelical non-denominational Christian.

An infidel is someone who doesn't believe in anything your faith believes in. A heritic is someone of your faith who has some weird ideas.

I don't think that people outside of Abrahamic traditions use those terms.
