this circus of people smacking each other back and forth is astonishing

the lack of empathy and compassion are proof enough of the prophecy that in the time of the end people would be slanderers, liars, not open to any agreement!

All these ones that ridicule the Bible are also foretold as those that will come with their ridicule,.

everyone with a competant level of understaning from the scriptures knows that these statements are true, so the end must be ever closer,
pray for it!
as it is in a hurrying!
it is God's will for the end of all those who are ruining the earth , aa he wants to rid the earth of them.

thank you to all those who support and do not support the truth and reliability of the Bible, as you have all played a part in many learning the truth!

How often do you pray? Do you have a set routine of the prayers you say, or do you talk to God like you would a friend? How do you start your prayers? Do you kneel at your bed, or pray as you do other things during the day? I always start with the Lord's prayer, then I thank God for all the blessings of my day, then I ask for forgiveness for my sins or mistakes of my day, then pray for help with things and pray for who I talked to who needs help. I was just interested in how you pray.

the weak minded? Before I get blasted for this one, what I mean is that some people are not strong enough in their faith, or minds to deal with certain aspects of reality. No, I am not saying all Christians are like that. I just saw a question posted about a Ouija board and one of the answers made me wonder this. Could the very thing we agnostics/Atheists see as ignorance inherent in the belief systems of others be intentional? What do you think?

I'm not Catholic, but I found a medalion of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, and I was wondering who/what she is the patron saint of? How/what is she supposed to protect? I did make alot of $ today, and I wasn't in trouble when I thought I was. Did she save me?

Is it just me, or do some Christians seem to be so diluted with their book that they don't truly listen to their spirit?

They rely on a book to tell them how they -should- feel and how they -should- act instead of listening to what their spirit says. They don't dare think outside the box, or in this case, out side the rectangle to find their own answers. For instance: I don't believe that someone will go to hell because they don't believe in Jesus or God. That's ridiculous because that means 80% of the world is going to hell. I also don't believe in the Adam & Eve story. However, I believe that Deity created evolution.

Please explain this to me. And for the love of God, if you say "Because the Bible is the truth", you're just admitting that you can't think outside your rectangle.

I have seen many people pose the question to Athiests of what would you did if Jesus appeared to you, or if you died and realized that it was all (religion) true... My answer ( I would be shocked and in awe...then i would be a little pissed that the rules werent better outlined, and try and get god to rememeber all the 500 million people that dont know about him and that it is cruel to condemn his children to hell...) I ask you the same question... what if the Bible is just a book... Perhaps it is the word of God, but what if it is just a book, a well written collection of morality plays, and stories on how to lead a right life.. but just a book? I really want a contemplative answer, not answers of "your damnable, or read it and you'll see its truth." I can accept the idea that I might be wrong, but can you?

Assuming that this is true, then would a few indiscretions in the Bible not have the same effect? If in their the indiscretions lie then you can't use this book to answer this question.

I am kinda curious because my Mom played it once when she was young... What's cool is that she asked for the initials of the person she was gonna marry... And walla! It gave her an accurate answer... Scenario:
You did everything right except believe in god or his kid. Better than some, in fact, that did believe. Are you going to hell? I am not baiting an argument, but I love these spirited debates! Here's my thing, it sounds kind of egotistical to me. Wouldn't someone that was so good maybe be given a second chance or reprieve? What if you live in a remote Amazonian rain forest where you havent heard? (I know missionary work is trying as hard as it can to fix this, but that is another topic!) In any event, it sounds kind of exclusionary and not very benevolent. Is there something that I am missing that is gained by what I've heard described as "Accepting God and the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior"? My friend told me the only way to heaven is to accept christ...

im all for a science-religion, like actually trying to find out what created the universe and where thought comes from and the like but dont scientologists believe we are all aliens or alien spirits or something? wheres the proof! u cant claim stuff without proof..........unless your a religion so hmmm, what is scientology, someone break it down for me and yea yea yea i know tom cruise is a member so noone needs to mention him... Do christians really worship a middle eastern dude that spent some time in the far east and learned about higher forms of consciousness there and brought them back to the middle east where it was a new concept and they liked it. Jesus is substituting god in christianity and i bet jesus doesnt like it. Quit saying praise jesus, it is blasphemy
