I'm what is called a philosophical Taoist. Tao means the way and basically, we are all on paths and they are our own. As long as your tao doesn't do harm to someone else's, it is a correct tao.
If you look at most major religions, they all say them same thing. The only difference being names or the intrepretations created by Man. The fact is that all tao are The Tao. If we are all walking down the road, does it matter if you call it a road, a street, an avenue, a lane, etc.? Does it matter if you walk or run? Does it matter if you are walking on the left, down the center, to the right, etc.? I cannot tell you what way is your tao, what right does anyone have to do that?
Truth is truth. I can find peace in that and not following the interpretations of man. Everyone should have faith, that is an individual thing. Things only get messed up when you are religious, that is Man.

I describe myself as being non-religious because I don't attend any Church or religious gatherings. However, I did go to parochial schools my entire life and then made an attempt at becoming a Christian. I didn't like it because I felt many followers were being hipocritical and I just couldn't attend anymore.
I believe in Jesus, I believe in God. I believe in treating others with love, kindness and respect. I don't believe in judging others, God will do that, but He'll wait until it's all said & done. He waits because He knows that while we're alive, we may yet make some good choices.
I make an attempt to follow Jesus' teachings. His teachings of love are what I believe in.

Christian
Why? I cannot put it into words, meaning words cannot contain what I know about God. Some might call that the Holy Spirit within me....*shrugs*
All I know is HOW I feel, and that is very passionately about the significance of Christ. In Him I can have complete faith and trust, something no human on this Earth could give me.
He is what I've been searching for, He is what I've been yearning for.
If that makes any sense to you...

I believe in God. I believe in his son Jesus Christ. I believe that the Bible is the word of God passed down for us. I also believe that after Christ's resurrection the need for religion ended. What Christ taught was about a one on one relationship with God, through the Spirit. We are told to gather together to give each other strength and are told to obey those who are placed above us, but its more about a one on one relationship than a religion.

I believe as the Bible states; that God is one God and there is no other and his name is Jehovah. That Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that God created him as the first born of all creation and in heaven he is also known as the Arch Angel, Michael. That God sent him to earth to be born as a perfect human so he could give his life as a ransom sacrifice so fallen man could be redeemed from sin and death, that God resurrected him back to spirit life in heaven and that he sits at God's right hand now as King of the Messianic Kingdom, that the holy spirit is God's active force or power that he uses to do his will, that soon Jesus will lock Satan in the abyss and destroy all wickedness on the earth and bring the earth and man back to perfection over his thousand year reign and bring all those in their memorial tombs back to life. Then Jesus will hand back the kingdom to his God and Father, Jehovah. Satan will be released from the abyss for a short while, then Satan, his demons, and any who chose to follow Satan will be done away with in the lake of fire, which means permanent non existence. Then all those who pass that final test will be given eternal life and enjoy the glorious freedom of the children of God.

I sort of answered this in an earlier question so I hope you don't mind a copy and paste..
Buddhism emphasizes the training and transformation of the mind based on the idea that all events are the results of ones actions (yep, 'karma'). Of our possible actions (verbal, mental and physical) mental actions are the key and focused on since verbal and physical actions are negative or positive based on mental motivation. All human events ultimately depend on our state mind and this why Buddhism focuses on the training of the mind.

My Religious beliefs are that I am a Born-Again Christian who
is a follower of the one true God, and the Lord and Saviour of
this world, Jesus Christ, who died for my sins, and the sins of
the world on a cross, 2000 yrs. ago, who died and rose again, so
that we all could come to God and not go to Hell for our sins.
Why do I believe? I have seen the miracles of God and His Son,
Jesus, & I am living proof that there is a God, as I was born 2
months pre-mature 51 yrs. ago & I weighed 1 pound. I am alive
because my Mother prayed to God to spare me - so here I am.
I choose to follow Him - He is my Light, my Saviour, my Hope.
I wait for the 2nd coming of Christ, so I can leave this sorry world
and be with Him forever! I will always Love Him. :)

I believe that life is sacred that god & jesus are just a figment of imagination & that the gr8 church mystery is the missing first page of the bible to say "This work of fiction is dedicated to" If their was an omnipitent god he would not allow wars, poverty, hunger, murder, or rape etc. It is up to every1 2 make up their own belkiefs based on god & the bible & my personal belief is that it means nothing & is irrelivant 2 2days society.
