2 questions really. I believe in god and am a christian, but I always wondered. If Adam and Eve were the only people god made how did we all get here? Were their kids incest or what? And did the same thing happen when Noah and his wife and their sons and thier wives were the only ones saved from the flood and they had to start the world over? There isn't any other refrence(that I can find) in the Bible about god making other people after adam and eve. Just curious.

I don't seen the logic of this belief.
Okay...so an all-loving God sends people to a place where there is no love? That already proves wrong that he is all-loving...he did a no-loving act.
How can an all-loving God send people to a no-loving place?
Why do christians not realize their logic does not make sense?

Ask yourself, if religion didn't exist; then how much sanity would it make for mankind to exist? Once you take away religion, there is an emptiness that can and will destroy you. The question of what is real. Without a program, there can be no creation. We are all part of a program, which is the bible. Everything is mentioned; everything exists. You can live life like a god, but you did not create this world. You can live like a slave, or like king, but never know if you're going to heaven or hell. The bible is made so that everyone goes where they belong, you can have faith or reject it. You can fool yourself into believing that there no hell, or that there is no heaven. Either way, in this program there is no end and there is no beginning. Worst of all, there is no proof that we exist, have ever existed, nor that we will continue to exist. Everything of life is based on faith, whether you believe it or not.

The last good theory I heard, was that it could have been that John would have been able to describe a computer or Personal Identification Number (PEIN). 6 6 6 would simply be an 18 number computer code grouped into 3's.

What other theories do you have? I can't believe in the literal translation because anyone coming out with that would just be too obvious.

A good man never gets near a menstruating woman. (Ezekiel 18:5-6)

"But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right, And hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour's wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman,"

Is Bill Clinton the real antichrist? He reigned as no president ever has triumphant, arrogant, cruel and immoral. He was impeached and acquitted. Revelation 13:3 "And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded unto death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast." He ruled as the Roman Caesars did, via secret terror and chicanery. Murdering and blackmailing opponents, using goverment agents as his personal Praetorian Guard. Unimaginably evil if Bill Clinton is not the antichrist then he must be the antichrist's tutor! Does this man indeed fit all the signs of the prophesied Son of Perdition, his very name is identified by the number 666. His name equals six hundred and sixty six in Hebrew and Greek. Clinton One-World Government Conference to Address “Threat” of Christianity & Judaism. Mark 3:29 "But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is Damned."

Wouldn’t freewill be an imperfection since it allows us to reject morals? And no, I'm not talking out of my *** or my ego. Just sayin' that people should stop worrying about Heaven/Hell, Jesus/God, and make this life as good as possible for all of us. Van Gogh always said he'd worship the Lord his own way: through Art.

I'm going to be a junior in high school. I'm going to a Christian school right now, but it doesn't offer any AP classes. There's a Christian high school that has a program where you can take classes that count for college and high school. Plus they give you a full scholarship to Liberty University. The only problem is that I'd have to move across the country to go there. Should I leave all my friends, get a better education, and a free ride to college. Or stay here where I have a TON of amazing friends?

With all the conflict in Israel and the Middle East, and so many of the biblical prophesy signs being fullfilled, it makes me really start thinking about things. Then on MSN.com it says there seems to be no end in sight regarding the fighting over there. What is everyone's thoughts on this?

I have read many answers on todays questions regarding many different aspects of religion, christianity, muslim, atheism..etc, and my mind is still made up.....you are all crazy...you belive in a image or belife wholehartedly without giving thought for the millions of others who disagree with you.
Most religious texts were written by people thousands of years ago who thought the earth was flat, that stoneing was a good idea, and that some being, who was invisible wanted it all to be a certain way, eons before proper, enightened civilisation occured.

I pity anyone who can muster hatred or anger at anyone else's beliefs, its all a big yawn, religion is the opiate of the masses and when you finally pass away and your body becomes one with mother nature ,your belief, your ideals your predujices, hope and desires will fade into the earth that made you.....jew, catholic, prodestant, muslim, hindu, buddist, paganist, christian...you are all just humans that believe different stories. :)

Generally in movies and such, I'll see atheists being portrayed as rebels and punks causing chaos and disorder. Oftentimes hearing about someone being described as a positive person, they'll be someone who "goes to church every sunday" and has some religion or another.

Do you view people of no religion as "inferior"? If so, why? If not, why not?

Hey all you Christians! Thank you so much for your encouragements and what you try to do on this site. Then thank you all who don't believe in my God for asking all these questions about Christianity. I know most of them are to mock us, but truly they make me want to know more about my beliefs. They make me grow more and more to love and know God. So thank you so much for your help in helping me to grow in Jesus Christ. Everytime you ask those type of questions you make me want to know God more. Will you accept my thanks?

I recently read the famous book by Lee Strobel called "The Case for Christ," and the case presented is generally conclusive that the Gospels and New Testament represent historical fact. However, in the book, the scholars he interviews each have a personal faith in Jesus, he doesn't interview any critics of the historical case for Jesus only presents criticisms himself, and some of the evidence provided in the book is theoretical rather than based on solid fact. I was just wondering generally whether the historical case for Jesus was generally recognised as a strong case, or whether there is wide criticsm and skepticism from theologians, scholars, and so forth, especially since the book was published (1998) directly or indirectly with it. Thanks.
